According to this http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/General_Info/Flyers/12028421_Revit_QuickReference_Guide.pdf Mariner received the Boardwalk Dog House during her refit and the Navigator is meant to be getting the Park Café. Do we know if Voyager will receive either, if not both of these venues (I hope so)?

I would love to see Voyager receive Chops Grill, Izumi, Giovanni's Table (they normally change Portifino's to GT), change Scoreboard to Vintages Wine Bar, Champagne Bar to the R-Bar, Boardwalk Doghouse, Park Café, outdoor movie screen and the Flowrider. I could also see them playing around with the layout of the Windjammer and eliminating the Island Grill to make a lot of this work.

  2. Why is Deck 2 so good?
Also, it's only one flight of stairs to get back to your stateroom after a long, exhausting day in a tender port. You don't feel very much movement and you've got deck 3 (all staterooms) in between you and all the noisy activities in the centrum on deck 4. Our group of 8 were all on deck 2, including some very experienced cruisers, and we all agreed the location was ideal. :)
  3. It's more of a guideline. We were on deck 2 (awesome deck to be on actually) and our boarding time was 3pm (not that anyone seemed to be checking what deck you were on and your corresponding boarding time). We were able to board a little earlier because the crowds had cleared and there was no queue by around 2pm. We were through check-in and onboard in about 10 minutes.

  4. How big are you talking about? When I was on the Royal, there were two different sizes of ship models for sale.
Well, the old ones were only around 5 or 6 inches long. The new ones would be around 12 inches long and lot more detailed. Glad to hear they had them on the Royal as well. Maybe they've finally come to their senses and started producing the larger models for those who want them. :)
  5. Thank you all for your answers. To those who suggested I ring P & 0, agreed good idea, but I thought the idea of these boards were to help each other, especially those who may have done the same cruise.

To ring P & O and finally get connected to someone the other side of the world, is not my idea of using my time.

I would hate to give you the wrong info cruisingbetty, which is why I recommended going to the source. As far as I'm aware, P&O's call centre/res team is still based in Australia.
  6. See, I loved Zoltina-J when she was CD on our cruise. I thought she was lovely to the passengers and she is a one-eyed Sydney Swans supporter, so always had a bit of a joke about AFL (Not rugby Barry. I don't even like sport and I knew that). You could tell she was really close to her entertainment staff and the chemistry with them was fantastic.
