I didn't get noro but it was going around Rhapsody when we were onboard in November. They were advising that the visit to the doctor, and treatment, was complimentary.

Besides, how often will those 70 cabins sail with four people in them? Most would be twin share presumably. I don't think it will be too much of a noticeable difference. I hope the Navigator revitalization will be a good indicator of what they're going to do to Voyager.

I was on Youtube again tonight and this video showed up in my "suggested videos" section. I'm not sure how accurate it is, but the allegations are shocking, to say the least... :(
-
I forgot to mention, I also wouldn't mind seeing Samba Grill and Rita's Cantina on board Voyager as well. If Radiance can have all these venues, and it's a lot smaller than Voyager, than why can't Voyager? :D
-
Pardon me for asking, but why would you go on a cruise to watch football? Can't you do that at home?
-
They definitely had them for sale in the photo gallery on Rhapsody.

The term "newly weds and nearly deads" isn't a new term. It has long been associated with describing cruising in the "old days".I think many older people would find it very upsetting to be referred to as nearly dead. -
I know this is a serious question by the OP, but really!? Australia and NZ are no different (bathroom wise) to the U.S. We are both civilised, westernised societies. The majority of the smaller Pacific Islands that the cruise lines visit have westernised bathroom facilities/toilet blocks.

According to this http://www.creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal/General_Info/Flyers/12028421_Revit_QuickReference_Guide.pdf Mariner received the Boardwalk Dog House during her refit and the Navigator is meant to be getting the Park Café. Do we know if Voyager will receive either, if not both of these venues (I hope so)?FlowriderIn line skating removed.
Cabins in Vault level 3
Speciality Restaurant Vault level 4.
Izumi and Chops.
Disco to Viking Crown
6 Tender stations
Updated Bridge equipment.
plus other things.
I would love to see Voyager receive Chops Grill, Izumi, Giovanni's Table (they normally change Portifino's to GT), change Scoreboard to Vintages Wine Bar, Champagne Bar to the R-Bar, Boardwalk Doghouse, Park Café, outdoor movie screen and the Flowrider. I could also see them playing around with the layout of the Windjammer and eliminating the Island Grill to make a lot of this work.

Do we know what the ship will receive during her 6 week revitalization?
-
It's funny you posted this because just last night, I was playing around on youtube, watching old clips of ships from years ago...
-
That's weird! You can see the words "of the seas" reflected on the window towards the end, but I'm positive the first word isn't Quantum or Anthem. To me, it looks like it says "...nade" as in Serenade.

It wouldn't surprise me if they jack the prices up for the Australian cruises...

Yes! I can search for cruises and it tells me how many itineraries are available once I've narrowed down my options, but it won't actually show me what those options are, just a blank background. :(

Also, it's only one flight of stairs to get back to your stateroom after a long, exhausting day in a tender port. You don't feel very much movement and you've got deck 3 (all staterooms) in between you and all the noisy activities in the centrum on deck 4. Our group of 8 were all on deck 2, including some very experienced cruisers, and we all agreed the location was ideal. :)Why is Deck 2 so good? -
It was available all the time last month on Rhapsody.
-
It's more of a guideline. We were on deck 2 (awesome deck to be on actually) and our boarding time was 3pm (not that anyone seemed to be checking what deck you were on and your corresponding boarding time). We were able to board a little earlier because the crowds had cleared and there was no queue by around 2pm. We were through check-in and onboard in about 10 minutes.

Can you take the 11 year old back for a refund...? :D
-
Well, the old ones were only around 5 or 6 inches long. The new ones would be around 12 inches long and lot more detailed. Glad to hear they had them on the Royal as well. Maybe they've finally come to their senses and started producing the larger models for those who want them. :)How big are you talking about? When I was on the Royal, there were two different sizes of ship models for sale. -
I would hate to give you the wrong info cruisingbetty, which is why I recommended going to the source. As far as I'm aware, P&O's call centre/res team is still based in Australia.Thank you all for your answers. To those who suggested I ring P & 0, agreed good idea, but I thought the idea of these boards were to help each other, especially those who may have done the same cruise. :mad:To ring P & O and finally get connected to someone the other side of the world, is not my idea of using my time.

See, I loved Zoltina-J when she was CD on our cruise. I thought she was lovely to the passengers and she is a one-eyed Sydney Swans supporter, so always had a bit of a joke about AFL (Not rugby Barry. I don't even like sport and I knew that). You could tell she was really close to her entertainment staff and the chemistry with them was fantastic.

There is Turkish Delight Tim Tams now...

I believe the new packages have already started in the U.S. and they start from January for everywhere else.We are on Rhapsody now, no new drinks package...very dissapointing. The guy who sold us package when we got on board said I think maybe 19 Dec but that just seemed a date he pulled out of air.
Vicky:)
Any benefit to doing Chops Grille on first night?
in Royal Caribbean International

Dinner at Chops was half price on the first night onboard Rhapsody.:)
