I just saw that Uniworld River Cruises has no single supplement for several of their 2024 river cruises. Some of the prices are very reasonable (imo). Itineraries are varied too.

I've booked a TA on Carribean Princess that will arrive in SH on 5/19/24. Then will leave SH same day on Sky Princess for Norway/Denmark. I'm told this is called a 'side by side' cruise. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do from the time I get off first ship until I can get on the 2nd ship? Anywhere to leave my luggage? Can I walk to anywhere close to the port for any sightseeing? Thanks in advance.

It could be a glitch. I booked a single cabin for a May TA. No problem.

I cruise Princess solo regularly. Have never been charged a double deposit.

I just watched an online "tour' of Riviera river cruises yesterday. I was impressed by what they offer for solo cruisers. A certain percentage of solo cabins on every cruise and some cruises are for solo cruisers only. Rooms are larger than those found on Viking and they go into ports that are closer to embarkation and debarkation airports. Definitely worth checking out.
