We have cruised many times, but 1st time with this cruise line.
In The MDR can you only order 1 app and 1 meal? Do you get charged for 2nd?
How do you book excursion before hand?
Do they have an App?
Do you have to register each room separately? Every time I try to register it says "try again, Error"
-
We have never been, what to do?? Excursion or is it walkable o a nice beach??
-
no, but I see RCL is also still sailing out of NJ
-
I wonder if Bermuda will happen, NCL just cancelled for summer

You need to link the other reservation on the app first. On the account page, go right down to the bottom where it says "select a different sailing". From there you have the option to link reservations.
Just did the same thing for our family at the weekend.
I have the app and cannot figure out how to even add my reservation??

For that price, I'm guessing it includes transportation but not park admission.
It is strange for Disney and universal it clearly states transportation only, but not for all the others. I will have to call Royal. Thanks

OK, that's Port Canaveral actually, about 45-60 minutes from Orlando.
Yes, I know I was asking about SeaWorld express excursion and what was included

Yes, I agree it's strange and wrong if you never saw your steward or got turn-down. I have never ever heard of that. That would mean you never got the Dailies, which seems even stranger. Although I sympathize with it being upsetting, I don't understand why, after the first night of no turndown or dailies you did not go to customer service and ask that it be done. I would not go the whole cruise feeling pissed about it and certainly would not allow no dailies being delivered. So I too question if you went to ask about it and if not, why not? Can you clarify that for us?
This was our 6th cruise we never had to chase down a cabin steward and we didn't feel like standing in a line. It was a short 4 night cruise. I did send NCL an email.
we looked for our cabin steward the day we arrived never saw them. First night left daily paper never made sons 3rd bed. Had to call around 11 to get bedding. Next am again tried to find them. Think I located her, she just looked at me when I asked if she was our cabin steward - never introduced herself. I said I have 3 in this cabin and needed a bed made. After we came back to get ready for dinner, dailys were there for next day. As we were getting ready for dinner around 6 she knocked and asked if we needed towels. We said no assuming she would be back...nope.
this continued. I saw her again the next morning and asked to replenish my coffee. which she cleaned or replenished. Again at dinner knocked, asked if we needed towels , I said can you leave later with turn down service. We got turndown service that night and she left daily for last 2 days. On our last night again sons bed not made and wet pool towels left on floor. again did not clean coffee pot

That is awful and, quite frankly, unacceptable.
I have never even heard of that happening to anyone.
I always have a couple of minor requests (extra towels, empty mini fridge, etc) of my cabin steward on boarding day so I would have sought him/her out. And, if I hadn't gotten turn down service the first night, I would have gone and let someone know about it. As someone else mentioned, it's during turn down service that you receive your freestyle daily paper so it's hard to believe that the whole turn down service was blown off by a cabin steward.
My experience with cabin stewards has been good to excellent on all of our cruises. As I said, I start with a couple of minor requests that first day and tip $20. After that I typically get the service I desire.
With regards to towel animals, my daughter (who's now 19) always loved them and my wife liked them too. I don't think any of us would care much if they stopped doing them now but we would definitely notice and be disappointed that the cruise line was cutting back on the niceties that distinguished cruises from other vacations.

If you join their loyalty program, after you first rental you just walk up and pick up your rental car info to the left of the counters. You then walk out to get your car, no waiting.
we just got off our cruise on SUnday and took over an hour to get our car and they said they did not offer this at this location. Never again
-
we just off the Dawn, no towel animal and no nighttime turn down service. Never met our cabin Steward, just awful
-
we just got off of Dawn. we all downloaded app before we got on ship and once on ship the app connected you to ship. No user name or password required

Most staterooms have a single double cup coffee maker of sorts - NO Pots.
You can order Room Service coffee in a pot serving maybe 4 small cups.
Room Service charge free Continental Breakfast before 10 am !
Need more coffee take the pot to the Buffet and refill or have it refilled.
Like more coffee during the day night ask your cabin attendant if you
can keep the pot filling refilling from the buffet.
thank you

anyone know if Dawn balcony rooms have coffee pots?

We (myself, wife and 2 DDs) will be on the Dawn in 12 days celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary. 😁
This is our first cruise in 10 years and I am definitely excited! It's a 4-day cruise from Miami to Costa Maya.
Looking forward to reading your review. Also, suggestions or recommendations would be appreciated.
Thanks,
we are doing the same with our 3 teen boys - cannot wait

We did go to Krazy Lobster as we had a group of 10 people who decided to go to the beach. Taxi knew exactly where to drop us off and there were Krazy Lobster employees waiting to escort us to the beach. We had a table right up front behind the row of loungers. Very shady at the table....loungers in the sun. Food was good and drinks plentiful. Had a little difficulty hailing down our server to order and pay. I think they were shorthanded as it was Christmas Day when we were there. Water was clean....not clear to see to the bottom, but not brown as I have seen in other pictures. No seaweed floating either. Kids had fun in the water....and it was a relaxing 3 hours. Nothing special, but a nice way to spend a few hours in Costa Maya without an excursion. For 10 people, our bill was $150 before tip. No cost for chairs/loungers, they just ask that you eat and drink. They did have massages for $20. A lady came by and gave me a sample with a quick upper back massage and it felt wonderful! They did have a few hammocks, free WiFi, and the free use of kayaks (very old, but usable). Yes, lots of locals coming by asking you to buy things from them.....lots....same things over and over again. A quick, no thank you worked....and they were in to the next guests. Bathroom was in a dilapidated building to the left of the restaurant. There were signs.....but we were wary at first. Not very clean, but usable. I wouldn’t want to change clothes in there, but for bodily functions it worked. Sink was outside of the bathroom and had soap and paper towels. Can’t compare it to any other place as we did not get off the ship the last time we were in Costa Maya. Hope this helps!
is there a fee to go? Do you email to make reservations?
