  1. Melody - how big is your deck? We need to get ours replaced.
  2. I think we got our upsell offer about 3 weeks prior to sailing.
  3. Got a Group-On did this in Vegas -- it was magical!
  4. If you're in a Neptune suite, the lounge concierge can order them for you.
  5. We did this past Feb/March....hubby was in the Navy & loves sea days, of which there are a lot on this cruise. I'm more of a port person -- I like seeing/experiencing things at various ports &, for me, this cruise didn't have that --- not enough time to do/see a lot on any island except Oahu (where we had an unscheduled 2nd overnight due to the weather not permitting us to dock on Kauai). It gave us just a taste of every island - enough to say if we were to explore again, we'd pick 1 or 2 islands & visit each for 2-3 days if not more. Didn't do any ship excursions -- did all private ones that we arranged ourselves or found through our roll call here on Cruise Critic so can't speak to those. If you can purchase Club Orange, I suggest you do it -- more pleasant than the MDR for breakfast & dinner. We did a paid upgrade to a Neptune suite so it was included as was unlimited laundry - glad we had both. Even though the ship was full-ish, it never seemed to be crowded except for some talks in the World Stage - after suggestions to offer a 2nd time &/or show them on the room tvs, that was done. The Lido at lunch was a little busy but if you avoided 'opening' times it was manageable. Hubby liked the NY Pizza/deli - I wasn't impressed & the only time I tried the Dive In for a brat, the brat wasn't even warm in the middle - YUCK! but he liked the cheeseburgers. Underwhelmed by the Pinnacle Grill but did Tamarind twice, Rudi's was good....somehow missed Canaletto & did the Ethan Stowell chef's dinner in the Pinnacle - wish we could have saved our $ on that one. Entertainment was good --- usually SRO in BB Kings & Rolling Stone RR. We aren't trivia players, or coloring for adult types. Depending on which bar you went to, drinks were either very good or 'is this what I ordered'? Some wines/spirits were in short supply from mid-to end of the cruise. More info? -- just ask.
  6. No but I bought a friends daughter one made with gum wrappers in Puerto Vallarta years ago.
  7. @dfish I prefer the orange....the other one looks like hot pink on my monitor.
  8. I already posted this on the Mexican Riviera port page but I'm wondering if anybody has done this & what your review of it is. We were booked on this cruise when Covid cancelled it & it's now available again....TIA
  9. We were booked on a cruise that included this but was cancelled due to Covid. Has anybody been on it in the recent past or is booked on an upcoming cruise? Info please since I see it's available for December, 2023. TIA.
  10. Re: macaroons vs macarons --- I like the 1st ones. Was very surprised on our 1st Caribbean cruise when I had a macaron -- not what I expected.
  11. For now you can put my prayer request on the rotation list - he could have 3-6 months & it's a glioblastoma. Thank you all again!
  12. On Holland, I think it's on the Bridge Cam channel on the tv.
  13. Happy Birthday Jacqui....have a great day!🍷can't find a white wine emoji....
  14. Thank you all for your prayers & comments. Hoping they will find peace & comfort knowing so many are praying.
  15. I have a very urgent prayer request, please...my favorite cousin, Chris, has just been diagnosed with glioblastoma & apparently doesn't have much longer to live. I'm asking for prayers for his peaceful passing & comfort for his wife & children & the rest of his family. Thank you all!
  16. @dfish Thinking good thoughts for you & your surgical team tomorrow! Hope all goes as planned & that you have a speedy recovery.
  17. Don't do the Richard Deane tour on Nuku Hiva. Sounded like a great tour but---he way overbooked it - had to scramble at the pier to find more trucks & drivers. Our truck driver told us some info but when a bilingual couple got in the cab of the truck with us all conversation & info was in French ---- needless to say the rest of the tour was a wash for us. Also, Richard had a white board with all our names on it --- we were 2nd on the list but that didn't give us any advantage as to whose truck we got in.
  18. They did deduct it from the upgrade price as well as the unlimited laundry we pre-paid.
  19. Our Eskipoo, Max, has had & does have so many lipomas ---some have been removed, some remain.....
  20. ADN class of 1981--- whites & caps thru graduation then just whites, thank heavens, until more colorful scrubs came along.
  21. I used to...then you give your opinion & they still go to the dr. - I wished they would skip the middle-person (me) & just go.
  22. Hubby is a Tommy Bahama linen pants fan.
