  1. Ordered them all the time on the Discovery and the Crown, IIRC was only ever charged for one shot. Most mornings I had a vanilla bean latte and added the shooter, great way to start the day.
  2. Upon boarding the first stop is always Good Spirits for a Bud and Clamato, plus a little little snack from the IC to tide us over until dinner. Always enjoy catching up with those bartenders I know from previous cruises. From there we go straight to our Muster station scan in and then head to our cabin to watch the video, unpack and enjoy sail away from our balcony. We also get to meet and have a quick chat with our Steward and apologize in advance because we usually sleep in while cruising.
  3. Too late lol! Booked the 10 nighter on the Sapphire in June. My husband was a logger and worked up and down the B.C. coast and inlets for decades, He’s happy not having to stay in a bunkhouse and eat in the cook shack. We’ll be fine.
  4. Cruised on the Crown 7 times since 2022, anywhere from 7-30 days. Only once had an issue and requested a mattress topper and problem solved. It was a lot of work though for my steward and he had to request permission from housekeeping so please only request if necessary and not just in case.
  5. We just booked the 10 night Denali cruise tour on the Sapphire, our first time on this ship but done many on the Crown and love Skywalkers and Vines so was an easy choice for us. Our first cruise tour so will be following for hints, tips etc.

  7. Its a pending charge right? It will probably drop off in a week or so, happens all the time. Its for accounting purposes, I am Elite but the charge for laundry shows up on my folio, drops off the next day.
  8. Literally it will take minutes to collect your information and the hosts work incredibly hard coordinating everything both before and during your cruise. Did you call Princess and ask about transportation? May have been a miscommunication? I had a similar job for 22 years, and no matter how hard you try you just can’t please everyone. Not really understanding what your expectations are but your crack about your “supposed host” is uncalled for.
  9. The instructions in the email are pretty clear. Take your receipt to the casino cashier and they will reimburse you. Aren’t you still nearly 3 weeks from your cruise? They are just coming off huge B2B Prestige cruises with a Diamond Event in the middle. The information they require before your cruise is minimal all the casino events take place on the ship. There will be an Executive Casino host on board, go to the meet and greet on the ship ours are normally held in the Vista lounge and they will provide lots of information. Don’t stress over this trust me they are very busy right now and they haven’t forgotten about you.
  10. We’ve each gotten one and put it towards a hot stone massage. Solo cruises I usually opt for a mani/pedi.

Please bring your receipt with you to the casino on embarkation day to receive your cash. • Flying in and out We will provide you complimentary transportation for up to 2 guests in an executive sedan, you will be picked up on the date when the cruise will depart from the hotel or airport and on the date the ship will return to the home port from the ship to the airport or hotel. If you select this option, we will reach out to the phone number provided with more details. 2. Select your package by completing the survey. Details about each package can be found below: BASK: Go all in on relaxation with a spa treatment valued at up to $150, five chances to scratch and win, plus dinner with your Executive Casino Host. TREK: Bet on excitement with an onshore jaunt valued at up to $150, a chance to make a Deal… or No Deal, and a photo package to remember it all. On embarkation day, visit your Executive Host in the casino for more information about your suit selection. Absolutely make a parking reservation and prepay that way you will have your paid receipt to take to the casino.

  14. The hosts are just disembarking today from the second Diamond Prestige cruise. I was on the first week and they were incredibly busy and all the Executive hosts were onboard the Sky then the Caribbean Princess. The Executive hosts are the only ones who deal with the arrangements for the Prestige cruises calling Princess or your PVP will not speed up their process. if you’re self parking just bring your receipt on board with you for reimbursement. They will contact you in plenty of time to ask which perk you want and for Moveo to set up your transportation if using the car service. Takes 2 minutes to give them your flight info. Please be patient they haven’t forgotten you.
  15. I guess I should qualify that, I spend less time in a session but will go back more than once.
  16. Usually less, the casino is incredibly busy and can be difficult to get on a machine. The smoke in there can be pretty bad and it seems all the machines I like to play are in the smoking section, I can only stay in that area so long then I am gone.
  17. Been on 5 cruises all with Princess Plus since they started shipping them to Canada and never been charged for them. If you go all the way to the end it will show $0
  18. Just got off the Sky Princess on March 9th. Think this was my 3rd Prestige cruise in a year. Your Executive casino host will email you and everything is done through her, from the car service/parking to which package you prefer last time she even sent a separate survey which was kinda weird but ok. And on the cruises my husband was with me he was also included in the dinner with the host. I received emails from Moveo to give them flight details and pick up time for the return trip. Although it states they will meet you at baggage claim that has not been my experience likely due to airport regulations regarding unattended vehicles. They asked me to pick up my bags and call them with the number above the door where I exited from. The driver did call me almost as soon as the wheels touched down but with all the plane chatter I basically told him I'd call as soon as I was off the plane. They are very prompt and professional. Had a great cruise and am busy planning my next one, have fun!!
  19. My former sister-in-law (they were already divorced) went on a Princess cruise with her parents and ended up marrying her cabin steward. No idea if they're still married but it probably happens more than we know.

  21. Alaska Air resumed grounded flights end of January. I am booked on a Max9 tomorrow in fact.
  22. We were on the Discovery Hawaii cruise in December and had no problem getting gelato or the desserts that are included in the Plus package. Weird that they said no. I always order the rib eye in the CG and have learned to ask for it blackened and medium well, comes out perfect!
  23. Would placing a towel over that area and securing it with the clips that people use to save loungers work I wonder? I'll be on the Sky in a few weeks, I'll try and remember to see if that will work. Thanks for the heads up!
