  1. I am almost sure it was, 80s Pop to the Max. Songs from the 60s to the 80s. Just awesome.
  2. Do NOT miss the last shows. It was excellent
  3. I would not get your hopes up on great food. Our experience on the Freedom I think was becuse of the cooks. NEVER had more than one day on a 7 day cruise that they had mashed potatoes. 3 out of 5 has never happened. However, when they had turkey. Baked potato or rice. No mashed with grvy, darn!
  4. Considering the cost of a Disney cruise the food should be excellent to say the lease. Boring, yup I would think so. 52+ cruises on Carnival, maybe 2 or 3 were not up to expectations, not bad.
  5. The breakfast sausages were excellent links. Very good as was the shreaded potato patties, fresh and made pefect. Sad, no bacon. Fresh made yogurt. Three different fuits. Again totally unexpected on a Carnival ship, no less the Freedom. A very pleasant suprise.
  6. She had a 1/2 hour on stage and then played in one of the musicales as well. The last show was awesome.
  7. Just returned from the Halloween cruise. Lots of positive. As usual, awesome costumes and get ups. Lots of fun. Only one negative. The guy and girl singing by the casino bar were terrable. Really bad. You may not believe this. The food in the buffett was unbelievably good. . "Only did the buffett" Guy's burgers were far better than usual. Juicy and thick. Never before on Carnival, this was only a 5 day cruise they had mashed potatoes for lunch 3 of the 5 days. Each day made different and all were excellent. 😎One afternoon they had fish and chips. Cod, excellent. All the hot food was hot, the soup was super hot. Even the soft serve and the frozen yogurt were excellent. Thick and solid. So yes, the food ws a total suprise. As you would expect the ship is certainly showing its age. But still in very good condition. We have cruised on the Freedom 5 times this was the 6th. Do not remember it being this good. Getting on and off was a breeze and fast.
  8. I never said it was. It is TV listings Royal shows. Nothing more. It does say available fleet wide. That tells me ALL ships.
  9. Last time on the Mardi Gras the wife cound not eat the BBQ. The flavoring was way overboard on the hot taste. No Mild, medium, hot choices. Did not even say hot to warn you. Hopefully it is better now.
  10. I thought I explainned it wuite clearly. Maybe you can understand this via Royal Caribbean. RCTV includes a 29 channel in-stateroom TV system. All channels* are available fleet wide to all guests. Live satellite channels include FOX News, MSNBC, BBC World News, Sky News (Europe & Australia Only), ESPN, ESPN 2 (Caribbean and Alaska Only). Various other channels are also offered based on ship’s position and itinerary. * Channels are subject to outage based on ship’s position and other external interference, and may not be available on all ships and sailings. Programming is subject to change without notice.
  11. It is freom Royal Caribbeans TV listing. Not any ship in particular.

  13. That outlet only has power when you turn on the bathroom light. I use a battery oerated led night light.
  14. I used the app and confused why I have the green check mark and green line. Wife has the exclamation mark and the blue line. She is fully checked in.
  15. I have T-Mobile and I get free texting in almost every port. Including Mexico, Bahamas the Cribbean etc.
  16. That is the main reason we have not had dining in the MDR in years.
  17. This is not just cruise insurance. it is TRAVEL insurance and cover every way you might travel. Tons of benefits.
  18. BoA Premium rewards card. I keep what is required in the bank to receive the max points. 3-1/2% on everything. Get the card and charge $3000 on it in 90 days and you receive $500 That alone paid for over 5 years of the yearly cost of the card.
  19. This card has a fee. However we cruise 4-6 times a year and the fee is far less than purchasing travel insurance for each cruise.
  20. Why diden't you just put your rewards points on you card balance? Then you just spend whatever on the cruise and get more points. I have BoA Premium Rewards card mainly for cruising because it has travel insurance.
  21. Over 50 Carnival cruises and several Princess. never been denied the Stock OBC
  22. All our dail medication my wife puts in those weekly hoilders. One set for me and one set for her. Screw carrying around perscription bottes and then havin to bring them out every moring and evening.
  23. My mistake. I read the doors not being tested on CC. It might have been the Mardigras.
