How is spending on water any different that a beverage upgrade, a bigger room, more specialty restaurants, or any other thing people blow money on. Like the casino? If it is burning a hole in the pocket over water then what is getting Haven considered? lol

Distilled water is flat, just tasteless it is mineraless. the ship water tastes salty to me and I swell drinking it. I love the Flow water, it tastes great. I drink it at home too, I don't drink any tap water, ever. even at home. and yeah as a child, water from the hose was a blech nope. lol

I couldnโt believe the story about NCL

It may surprise you that many still use AOL,Mocrosoft and Hotmail. I sell online and get these addresses all the time. lol -
Love my magnets, bring my skinny hanger with clothes on them, up, and out, and done, The luggage tags came highly recommended and we have lost them all , 2 on the last cruise and they took our luggage to lost tag area. ( had they looked inside they would have seen a duplicate tag saying who it belonged to) I over pack and have never regretted it, I use everything I pack one way or another, I can't live in rolled up shorts, t shirts, swimsuits/coverups and flip flops. If I am sweaty I cannot wear that top another time, it grosses me out. same for bottoms or a dress. I don't generally use the laundry but for jeans and hubs will do his things, but he doesn't do rolled up shorts and such either, He wears well packed nice shirts and shorts/ pants ( at night) and shoes or sneakers, and sandals only at a beach or the pool. Be sure to pack plenty of sunscreen if going to a tropical climate the sun is very different in strenght. I love my shoe hanger for multiple items. I use my suitcases open, under the bed as drawers for shoes and less used items. I have always said it is better to have and not need than need and not have.

"We did Getaway's 12/31 departure from NYC. We had a pleasant day and good weather. The departure previous to ours (Christmas cruise) left a day late due to river and ocean conditions." We left 2 days late and lost 2 ports of call and took 3 days to get to St. Thomas, so we had 5 "sea days' 2 in NYC. we left at 6:15 on Dec 24th. I was on this cruise. It was not a great cruise.

juju2454 replied to pookel's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I bought some off amazon, highly rated no less, and three were torn off first use. I gave them to family oo and theirs were torn off as well and one damaged the suitcas handle in the process. So they aren't great. -
3 Things I'll Miss About NCL, and 3 Things I Won't

When we were new to cruising with NCL we did indeed pay for Moderno, we were over all pretty happy with the included places. ๐ -
Wow rough crowd tonight. S.A.L.T.Y. Good Answers to be used, 1)Not a good Idea. 2)Could lose your FAS Package. 3)Your friends would expect it. 4)Might feel guilty, Everything else was just a bunch of holier than thou answers. Must be a perfect crowd in here. Esp that last one with the sorry not sorry apology... Years ago this forum became judgemental and pretty salty, apparently it has returned, how sad.

Yep it indeed hydrated in a pinch, but like you said it was not pleasant, just necessary occasionally. Then there were those times that the hose sat in the sun and well double the not too pleasant taste, plus hot to warm to eventually cool to cold water. I don't think I will ever understand when someone askes about a water package, it becomes a "bring your glass, ship water is good" discussion, every time. The question was about bottled water, not tap, not ship, not buffet, not bathroom sink. but bottled. I answered the question, but I didn't need to include the whole ship water argument. I didn't say you shouldn't or should buy bottled, nor did I say you should or shouldn't drink ship water, but somehow it always devolves to that discussion. Each person has to decide for themselves what they prefer to drink as water goes, why not leave it at the question asked? Just sayin' neither is a wrong just one or the other may be preferred.
