Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. They done it to me as well. call your TA and get it changed back. Good to see that I wasn't the only one this happened to. You cannot change the email or phone numbers on your account . You must have them do it.
  2. We did see that dog, and would agree that it didn't act like it was a service dog. But it didn't bite me, so I'm ok with it I guess. We were just down the hallway from you guys on Lido. I agree that there were many times that dishes were outside cabin doors. (not from us!!) It think the most that I have seen in a while. If the guy in the scooter is the same one that I think it was, He sure was a miserable individual. He seemed grumpy every time I had seen him. I kind of felt sorry for him. On a cruise and appearing not to be having a good time. If your room steward was Jay, then agreed, that he was one of the best ones we have had for a while.
  3. It isn't based on your loyalty level, it is sold to everyone. this promotion is sold onboard the ships also. It is run by the O.N.E. company which Princess has contracted to be the loyalty hosts and future cruise sales onboard. Now they cold call you with knowing your complete history of sailing with Princess. This company used to sell timeshares. Just so that you know. Many people do not feel it is worth it, because they have had problem with the on shore hotel part of the package. Buyer Beware!!!
  4. Currently on the Discovery Hawaiian cruise, the cutoff was around 680 days.
  5. I'm sure that they have heard about it. However, I think they may have signed a contract that has them utilizing this call center for a certain amount of time, or else they will get a monetary penalty. I know I refuse to book a Princess cruise if I have to call the call center, and I tell everyone I know that you DO NOT want to call them either. Book it any other way but not with calling them.
  6. Glad it’s working good for you. It logged me off while I was onboard 4 times on my 15 day Panamá canal cruise. But other than logging me off, it worked fine while using. But still has limitations.
  7. First time on the Emerald ourselves. Patter always said reservation required, and when we tried the walk up we were denied. Maybe having a party of 7 had something to do with it, don’t know.
  8. Just got off the Emerald Princess, you had to make reservations for the casual dining venues or else turned away. We did try the planks one night and steamers on another night. Reservations were handled by calling the dine line. We tried the app, and couldn’t do it.
  9. Carnival Corp is doing fine paying down their debt. Here's an article that shows they are ahead of forecasts on paying it down. It is still a large amount, but it is manageable. https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/carnival-corporation--plc-reports-record-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-revenues-with-continued-strong-bookings-and-earnings-momentum-302020638.html
  10. It’s only like a 65% price increase!!
  11. I just read on another site that the daily internet prices are going up to $24.99 per person per day. 4 device will be $44.99 per day. princess plus and Premier will not change in price. I guess they are wanting us to get the packages! MEDALLIONNET PRICE INCREASE — NO CHANGE FOR FARE BUNDLES! Now It Pays to Plus® more than ever as the price of purchasing super-fast MedallionNet® separately is going up. The a la carte cost is increasing to $24.99 per person, per day, per voyage, for single-device Wi-Fi, and to $44.99 for four-device Wi-Fi, effective with pre-cruise purchases starting Jan 22. Additionally, the price will increase for onboard Wi-Fi purchase on voyages sailing Jan 31 and beyond. There is no impact to guests who have purchased MedallionNet at the current price ($14.99/$39.99) prior to these dates. It is also important to note that there is no change to the price of Princess Plus and Princess Premier
  12. I guess we were getting robbed at paying $39.00 Plus the 18%!!!
  13. My last cruise, on the Crown, It was $39.00 plus 18% service charge. It was cheaper last summer at $29.00 and no service charge.
  14. Here is what it shows for a cruise with the next month. I guess a big price increase in on its way in the future.
