  1. Because they already withdraw many smaller ships from Europe and reduced varity of itineraries significantly. For us Royal is not attractive in Europe anymore and we are choosing other lines.
  2. But to a very limited range of ports and Voyager class is as old as Radiance class.
  3. Think outside the Caribbean. This would mean no more Royal in e.g. Northern Europe, Eastern Med and Alaska.
  4. Less weight is the goal and less steel is used but more plastic and similar material that looks shiny but is less solid and creates more movement and noise.
  5. Few exceptions always possible, in the past it was all Greek.
  6. No switch possible if booked in Scottland/UK.
  7. He is indeed Greek like all Celebrity Captains with exception of Captain Kate. And they are all used to speak and understand English, so for sure he was not uncomfortable because of language...
  8. I don‘t understand why people ar still booking this ships and even with noise state they had a great cruise. If you are not even able to sleep which is a basic requirement your expensive cruise is simply ruined. And I don‘t understand how Celebrity can still praise this ships as the greatest, they should be ashamed.
  9. Haven't you just constantly told everyone that Anthem is not going to Australia and that Serenade is not coming to Europe due to the conflict? Both were wrong....
  10. This is totally rubish, EU passengers also get 100 refund but not more.
  11. Why don‘t you simply buy a glass of wine while ashore?

    Queen Anne

I believe the topic of this is Queen Anne....
  13. First of all Navigator is in LA and they add Quantum in 2025...
  14. This is not correct, you can not switch all newer ships from oil to LNG easily. Such a change requires a full rebuilt of the ship and has been done only in very few cases (Container ships) at very high cost. Maybe you confuse it with adding shore power connection to cruise ships that is indeed done more often.

    Queen Anne

Who will be thw second Captain on Queen Anne?
  16. For this waffle trip they take the next train back down so you have a longer stop.
  17. If you book the train directly in advance your travel is guaranteed as well.
  18. They are the same trains, parts of each train are reserved for ship groups and otherbparts for individual bookings. Schedules are the same no matter if you book direct or via ship. They all stop at the waterfall for about 15 min and on top for about 30 min.
  19. If it is a Central Park view room it has a Central Park view so an interior view within the ship with a window, this will not change.

Thanks! So usually there is no loud music and dancing until late?

    Queen Anne

Question to all experienced Cunard travellers: Is it noisy if you have a cabin directly below the Commodore's Club? There are many on Queen Anne deck 11 forward.
  22. One service per day is fine if you don‘t always leave a mess in your room (like some do) but it is not ok to increase service fees at the same time for half the service and also less staff needed on RCCL side. Who gets the significant additional money?
  23. Still no news on Captain Johnny? Will he come back to any other ship?
