  1. The $2 charge for premium dessert with alcohol could be Majestic specific. Even though the menu at the ice cream bar still says "..., these desserts (original or with alcohol) are included in your package." The $2 is apparently a directive from the manager. I did point out to the statement in the menu and that they should honor the published fare and which is still in Princess published package. The attendant had to call her supervisor and the supervisor then had to call the manager. The package allowance limit could be just an excuse for the charge. ..
  2. .Is adding gratuity to the Princess Plus package coming next? We are on Majestic Princess now. The ice cream bar wants to charge us $2 for the premium dessert with alcohol included in our plus package. They claim that the charge is because the dessert with alcohol have a list charge of $14 adding 18% gratuities it exceeded my free premium dessert by $2.
  3. Don't count on priority boarding and the lounge at least for Platinum. We are platinum members but were denied access by PCL staff at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal NYC in august, the staff said that it was for elite only!!
  4. Lucky you. I put an order in the morning of 7/31, got the online acknowledgement. But some body voided my order. No email no GC after a day of waiting. Called AARP - NO RECORD of transaction..
  5. Is it AARP or Princess? I ordered one princess eGC in the morning of 7/31. I got the on line acknowledgement saying hat it could take 24 hours to receive the eGC by email. I waited >30 hours, no email and no eGC. Called AARP - the order was conveniently lost in cyberspace. There was no record of order. Then I found out the eGC price went up to $460. I can't believe it! I felt so cheap! I wasted a whole day checking email constantly and checked with CC and AARP. Looks like somebody just conveniently void the transaction so it can be sold 2% more. All other cruise lines, including Carnival and Holland American, are still 10%
  6. Thanks for the response. #3 did come to my mind, but so far no words from O yet. #2 is unlikely, because all tours on that day, be it half day or full day, have the same message "tour is closed". Can't say about #1, but that still seems far fetched for all tours.
  7. Tried to reserve an O excursion, but got the message that the tour is closed with no option to be waitlisted. Then I found out that all tours in this port, Sao Tome, are closed with no waitlist option. Any suggestions? Tour date is late March, is that too close and there is a time window that waitlist is no longer offered. Is it common that all tours are closed?
