If you are doing freedom class make sure you check out the 2 bedroom GS options. We had a group of 8 that had both Aft on deck 6 and opened up the partition and had a huge space.

Looking forward to joining the cruise in Barcelona to Copenhagen.
Last January we went to Antarctica with Hurtigruten with boots on the ice and Iguazu Falls for two days, tomorrow we leave for Oslo for a 12 night cruise to the North Cape then to Bergen for the Northern Lights also with Hurtigruten, currently 0 degrees in Oslo. Next January we are sticking with the Caribbean.
Did you have to be in the lottery system for shore excursions? I have seen that on a few reviews with Hurtigruten?

Can anyone tell me when the Norweigan Fjords will start limiting non complaiant vessels and which ports?

Go to vintages. They have a nice selection of wines available.

Is it me or does Central Park look narrower?

I would reach out on Twitter to Royal Caribbean. They are very responsive with many different issues and 99.9percent of the time have correct info versus phone agents.

Also note on your pre cruise survey you would like the same genie for all three cabins.

The genie will reserve all times without a problem except for the Chef's table and Hibachi if you want a time other than 7:30. The genie contacts you a month before.

I love the idea of reserving the Rising Tide Bar for the Promenade party!
Thank you, this is so helpful!! You all have me convinced - I'm going to book six girls in the RL suite and two girls in the CPV balcony with the UBP (since this is just a 3-day cruise, not sure if they need the unlimited dining package). I was looking into The Key so that they can get priority boarding/tender, but it sounds like they may be able to join us with no issue?
Yes they should be able to gowith you on embarkation and disembarkation.

- I purchased the drink package for my sister and I about a month ago.... as I'm reading into Star Class, it seems that the ultimate drink package may already be included? Should I cancel the UBP that I already booked? Is it included for everyone booked in the room?
It is included in the room for all guests booked in the room.
1 hour ago, LittleMissMagic said:- This is my sister's Bachelorette trip, and there will be 8 girls total attending. So far, we've booked four girls in the suite (sleeps up to six). I'm trying to keep costs down as much as I can for everyone. We were thinking that we'd book the other girls in two Central Park/Boardwalk view balcony staterooms on the 14th floor, close to the aft staircase so that it won't be too long of a journey between rooms. I know that this could potentially cause problems since we will be in the suite and they will not. We don't really care too much about hanging out in exclusive areas (Coastal Kitchen), as we plan to use the suite as our home base for the cruise and hang out there. We are fine forgoing suite perks/services..... but I also don't want to create a second-class situation for them as far as embarkation goes. (I'm not asking if we can extend our perks to them - I understand the perks would only be extended to those booked in the suite.) Any suggestions/recommendations on what additional room(s) to book for the additional girls?
I would book 6people in the suite and 1 in the balcony. that way all perks go with them as well. It is easier for a genie to add 2 people to reservations if they person has the UDP not sailing in the Star. They can all board with you.
1 hour ago, LittleMissMagic said:- Is the Genie someone who could help me with Bachelorette things like room decorations or hosting a party? Has anyone used the Genie for something like this before? I'd love to hear yabout your experience!
- Yes,in your communication they will ask what you need.

- You can order room service for all guests. I would for sure order breakfastand Starbucks coffee in the morning.
Thank you in advance!

I've got three Star Class rooms on an upcoming Harmony cruise.
Any idea if this helps with seat reservations or best to book in advance all the same?
The genie takes care of everything w except if you want to do chefs table. You need to book it and it will be refunded once in board.

Hi going on our first cruise ever on allure next week for 4 days in sky class crown loft suite and contemplating whether to remove the auto gratuities (which would total about $225 for the 3 of us) as will not at all step foot in the MDR. Thinking if this is sufficient tipping for a 2 adults and a child:
Room steward: $15/day so $60 total
Coastal kitchen waiter: $10 per meal so $30 per day for 3 meals
Luggage porter: $5 per bag during embarkation and disembarkation
Suite lounge or other bartender: $1 per wine glass or beer, $2 per cocktail
Your tips from the mdr go to the CK. Keep in mind the manager and hostess get tips out of the daily gratsin ck. Porters are not rccl employees.

Yes there were 2 on the 3 night sailing (day 1 8pm and day 2 5pm) and on my 4 night next week 3 showings Day 1 8pm and day 2 2pm and 8:30 Day 2 is the sea day
So basically 5 shows a week.. Didnt they only have 3 on the 7night sailings?

We are flying in the day before. We have never done a one way each way. We are not familiar with Port Canaveral which is why we were thinking of a week rental. Since you mentioned one way is the car rental return easy to do and how do you get the car for the return trip to the airport. I will look at National and see what their rates are. Thanks so much for the information.
I would just to the shuttle for the way back. sometimes getting a car afyer the cruise can be lenghty asthey have to wait for cars to come in.
