I agree. The Sky Ride was fun but I thought I was going to die in the ropes course.

How was your excursion?

Today would probably be a good time to do the ropes course whenever it opens. Don't do it. I did it on my Horizon cruise and almost died. Okay maybe that is an exaggeration but when the guy asked me at the end what I thought I told him it sucked and I may have used a curse word as well. The ropes course was not meant for this almost 60 year old gal.

Hello. We have been in 2 cruises over Christmas. One was a Princess many years ago . The other was on the Horizon in Dec. We have also been in a few the week before Christmas. As far as having Christmas spirit I feel like our Mardi Gras cruise the week before Christmas had more going on and more Christmas decor than our Horizon cruise. Our Horizon cruise was great but didn't seem as "Christmasy". They did have a nice service on Christmas day which was a sea day. On our Princess cruise Christmas Eve and Christmas day were Port days. On Christmas Eve I found a church with an early service so that was a nice experience. On Christmas day we were in Barbados and at first we weren't going to do anything but ended up getting a tour of the island and our driver even took us to his home where were we got to experience their tradition. Any other info you want please let me know.

I feel your pain Tallyho8. We had the same issue the Sunday before getting off the Horizon in Miami. We attempted to debark when our luggage group was called but ended up backed up on the stairs for a long time. Despite the back up they continued to call the luggage tag groups. The luggage area was also a mess. Seemed way too small of an area to handle the amount of light and people. I definitely prefer Port Canaveral.

Just caught up. We got off the Horizon on Sunday so your review is helping with my post cruise blues. We had a fantastic time but I will say the debarkation was a bit of a mess. Thank you for the live. I am enjoying as always.

Maybe you can take the mattress off the top bunk and use it on top of the other mattress to make it softer? BTW as always enjoying your live.
