True however we only book premium economy on long haul and save all our Qantas points to upgrade to
business which for our South African flights (to see hubbies family) we achieve 75% times going there and 99% coming back. Makes a world of difference flying flat bed 😁😁😁
Definitely appreciate that aspect of doing the princess transfer 😁😁
though we are at the end of a couple weeks visiting family in Uk, followed by 21days b2b cruises so won’t mind going home too much 🥰🥰
I’ve booked ours for Heathrow to Southhampton already.$77 aud cos I paid to choose front seats 😁 We’re going April. I’ve booked a princess transfer excursion to return from ship to Heathrow via Windsor. It’s a way of filling day before night flight back to Australia
We did our bucket list Alaskan cruise with Princess may 2023 (a round trip Vancouver to Vancouver) 14 days. We are both upper age (73 and 85) and had no problem filling time in port without climbing mountains and major hikes. And White Pass rail was one of our fav excursions.
When I was speaking to my PVP yesterday confirming b2b cruises next April in Europe (😁😁😁) she said everyone had been flat out re scheduling cruises re Crown Princess, and also said there had been a price hike re local cruises (ie Australia I presume).
so it’s given them quite a bit of work!
