Carnival is making changes to its room service and increasing the cost of their internet packages. NH Does anyone know if HAL has any plans to do the same?

Am I reading the terms and conditions correctly that these cards can only be redeem if you buy your cruise directly from HAL? Or, if you're redeeming them on board.
