  1. I will be online at 8pm EDT and "hope" to get all my preferred tours. That said, they have not posted any regent choice, small group, or any other specialty tours so, yes, the free ones might all be gone by tomorrow; especially on the Tokyo to Tokyo portion of the trip as that is waitlisted; of course, when the other tours become available many may switch which will open inventory.
  2. From the ticket contract: e. If the United States Department of State publishes a Public Announcement regarding a specific country or location included in the scheduled itinerary, We reserve the right to operate the Cruise or CruiseTour as scheduled or to change the itinerary, at Our discretion with no further liability for refund, payment, compensation or credit of any kind.
  3. Given that there are no regent choice, no small group, no go local, no culinary, and no other special excursions we hope they add a lot more later. We are following along your reports to get ready for next year. Have a great time at your lunch with ADM.
  4. After reading your tour description I immediately went to list of our excursions on Explorer next year and the Usa Jinga Shrine is not on any of the three options available. 😔
  5. Fine print says only new bookings; I guess they are not interested in us down grading existing flights. After 32 Regent cruises I am using Regent air for the first time next year and then again in 2025. For westbound flights I wouldn't mind premium economy as I never recline my seat flat.
  6. Mike, still can't get PDF of excursions for 1 April 2024 Explorer (EXP240401A); any chance they are going to be available in advance of excursion booking opening this weekend? thanks, Marc
  7. Accessible is shower ONLY; with wheelchair accessible shower.
  8. Deluxe verandah on Mariner are either Shower ONLY or Shower/Tub COMBO. I would find a new TA.
  9. For those of us with "free" deviations, are we also responsible for this $75 fee?
  10. I would like to buy stock pre-earnings; however, benefit is listed only on sailings through July 2024. Is this benefit extended every year? thanks, Marc
  11. I think it was 2007 and the seas were so bad that they brought on a relief captain (since the captain was exhausted) once the ship reached Japan. You pays your money and you takes your chances.
  12. For first time in at least four years, 2026 World Cruise did not "sell out" on first day of offering; as of this mornings D, E, F, and even four G cabins were available.
  13. For our 25th anniversary we had a carrot cake in Prime 7 and were serenaded by Ray and Nature's Rhythm. For our 30th anniversary we had a carrot cake in Prime 7 and were serenaded by Irina and two waiters. We have celebrated six anniversaries onboard and have 31st and 32nd already booked.
  14. Thanks for the notice; no surprise at all. Also no surprise is the $19M that is the parting gift from NCLH to del Rio; I knew there had to be some reason for the current cost savings efforts. 😉
  15. Our cruise April 2024 Tokyo to Vancouver has been waitlisted quite a while; not uncommon for unique cruises to be waitlisted over a year in advance.
  16. The first three Grandeur sailings seem to have plenty of openings; I wonder if we (booked on the first two cruises) are the fools for thinking ship will be ready on time.
  17. The ability to order from Compass Rose menu has been fleet wide for at least last twenty years. You can also ask for it to be delivered course by course (though we do not take advantage of this).
  18. I wish they would cut their ESG and DEI programs; what a waste of money.
  19. mj, we are on same cruise; still waiting for button to email all excursions to show up. Don't really care about past excursions as that just gets us upset when one we think we would really like is not offered on our sailing so we wait for the real list. Marc
  20. When working in Japan and colleagues would come from USA with three prong laptop cords; we would just rip off the ground post; not really needed in USA either.
  21. Coffee Connection opens at 0630. On Navigator coincident with Navigator bar so operating through midnight. Food 0630-1100 for breakfast items; 1100-1800 for afternoon items, and 1800-2000 for hot canapés; cookies always available.
  22. Sandy, doesn't it depend on reward nights with Regent as long as you submit request prior to 22 March? TA's can't submit requests prior to 13 March so no difference, regardless, prior to that date.
  23. Pcardad: In the past it has been 15% deposit upfront; so the 10% is a savings. Definitely a change with second payment (which I imagine most people made anyway) and now penalty starting at 210 days in advance. One question - In past if you used FCD your deposit was only half of normal (i.e., 7.5%), is that still true with the 10% deposit? thanks, Marc
