Hi lb, We are on a Princess ship in February doing a similar itinerary and our stop at IoP was pulled several months ago. We have since had the full itinerary moved around but still supposedly going to Noumea, Mystery Island and Lautoka,Suva and Dravuni Island in Fiji. Will just keep our 🤞that nothing else changes. At least no more testing worries!

Deployment 2025-26 booking season begins
TRUEBLUE66 replied to SummmerInKefalonia's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I contacted Royal in advance to make sure that the complimentary transfer was still happening and got different answers before finally having it confirmed. Went to guest services on embarking Odyssey and they arranged it. -

We did that this year. Got off Odyssey in FLL and took the courtesy transfer to Miami for the Grandeur. We had our UDP times all booked by 12. Transfer went to Miami airport first and then Oasis for approx 10 passengers before dropping us two off. -
Ideas for late flight post-cruise (Barcelona)
TRUEBLUE66 replied to dwade1901's topic in MSC Cruises
Hi, we were on Seaview last summer in Barcelona. I take it you have looked at post cruise excursions to the surrounding area either through the cruise line, if offered, or one of the travel sites? They can be expensive but all your luggage is stored on the bus until the end of the tour, usually at the airport. We used Bags&go.com who are located at the cruise terminal when you disembark. They will transfer your luggage to the airport allowing you to spend the day in Barcelona. You then collect your luggage from their kiosk in the airport terminal before checking in. -
We got off the Grand on 29th of July and only got our email folio a couple of days ago. I always get a copy on the last morning from guest services because if you have any refundable credit left over and live outside the US it isn't automatically returned to card and has taken a couple of phone calls to sort out. We also will continue to do so because of the following: We were on Sky in February and I went to guest services after dinner on the last night to get a copy which showed we had just eaten at Crown grill. Eh, no we hadn't! They phoned the Crown Grill who initially tried to say we had eaten there whilst I was listening in. It took about 10 minutes to resolve, but if we had been off the ship before discovering the mistake it would never have been sorted.

Hadn't seen this before, but just how long can you stay onboard after your cruise? Could be saving cost of a day room at hotel/luggage storage before a late flight. Stay Awhile From £38.54 GBP / per adult £30.68 GBP / per child Reserve Overview Not ready to say goodbye? Neither are we. Join the Stay Awhile Program so you can extend the last day of your cruise, remain onboard and continue to enjoy everything the ship has to offer. We'll handle your luggage while you enjoy a late breakfast or lunch at Windjammer Café or relax on the pool deck. The ship is yours. So, relax, kick back, and stay awhile. Program allows each participating guest to remain onboard the ship while it is docked at the disembarkation port until the time that the ship requires all non-sailing guests to disembark the ship.

Looking forward to your experience! We were on Diamond in 2019 for a round trip cruise from Kobe. My brother in law was living there at the time and we combined a land tour to Kyoto for a few days which was a highlight of our trip. On one of our ports of call we were wakened around 5.30 am by a group of schoolchildren on the quayside singing loudly! Apparently this was the first time Princess had called at this port and the locals went out of their way all day to make it special. We enjoyed that the ship put on lots of cultural events and that so many passengers from around the world had a japanese heritage. It made for a very different cruising experience which we really enjoyed.

We have done Barcelona several times and love the city almost as much as Venice. May I also suggest you look at Athens. Plenty to do and see and the port is only 10/15 minutes from the centre. Lots of direct flights from the UK. Lots of cruise choices to Greek Islands, Turkey and Israel.

Ravenna to Venice with royal transfer
TRUEBLUE66 replied to grannybee's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I phoned last week and got round trip transfer for Explorer cruise in October booked through RC as staying a couple of days either side. Tronchetto bus station to the ship. 9am pick up in Venice. I think there was a slightly later one at 10. Took a bit of time with the agent as he wasn't sure and had to go and check a few times but confirmed and added to invoice. I will phone them again nearer the time to confirm nothing has changed.
