Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. $54 for a Pinnacle Grill dinner is certainly no bargain. I wouldn't patronize without my 4 star discount.
  2. Do you get the Mariner Discount if you pre-reserve Pinnacle Grill, for instance? If so, how is it credited to your account?
  3. Thanks all for alerting me to the AARP OBC which I was not aware of. Unfortunately, I already booked my cruise so the OBC cannot be applied for this cruise. Apparently this restriction doesn't apply to military or educator OBC's which can be credited after a cruise is booked. I also was denied my stockholder OBC because HAL said I booked a "special" rate. I booked a Mariner Society rate which I didn't realize was considered a special rate.
  4. Yes, it worked out exactly as you posted.
  5. Not yet. Sailing tomorrow on Quest and assigned a 2:20pm boarding time. In light of what other posters have said about boarding times, we will probably show up about 1pm.
  6. Knowing the high demand for specialty restaurants, I booked a reservation on the first day booking opened up for an upcoming Seabourn Quest cruise. The reservation was acknowledged by Seabourn and I thought I was all set. However, now that sailing is approaching, I checked my itinerary and didn't see the dining reservation. Seabourn responded on a call that they had no record of the reservation. Just wondering if this ever happened to anyone else or am I just the lucky one?
  7. Received reply for Holland America this morning which indicated they will apply $100 on board credit to my Jan 4th Quest cruise. So I guess the "old" way still works.
  8. Just sent email to SB with proof of ownership. Will advise outcome.
  9. Thanks for the replies and guidance.
  10. Recently bid on a Royal Up for a Grand Suite from a balcony guarantee. My question is: Can I bid on multiple categories or just the one I have bid on? In other words, can I also bid on an upgrade to a Junior Suite as well?
  11. Sorry to hear this as wife and I are craps players. In a past cruise, the craps table saw little action with a $10 minimum. However, after telling the casino manager we would play with a $5 minimum, he opened the table at that level.
  12. Thanks for the response. I ask this because another poster indicated items in the cabin mini-fridge were not complimentary which seemed odd if some drinks are included in the ship's bars.
  13. Specifically, what drinks are included? Scotch, Vodka, Gin, cocktails, etc.
  14. LHT28 Thanks for the info. Just returned from visiting my cousins in your beautiful city of Toronto.
