We bought an excursion through celebrity cruise that included transportation to Playa Mia, lunch and drinks. They have two swimming pools and they’re both pretty good size. I’m not sure what you mean by daybeds but if you mean lounge chairs, they were right there at the beach or you could go further back if you want to. They had staff there to put up an umbrella if you wanted it. They came around frequently for drink orders. I noticed they did have massages available. They also have lots of gift shops for souvenirs and the like.

Older lady here, we just got back from Cozumel where we took an excursion to Playa Mia and had a great time. I would not hesitate to go there again.

We use Cortrans shuttle to get from MCO to Pt Canaveral, clean shuttles, dependable service.

Please tell me your experience on a small river cruise. My son and daughter-in-law want to do that next so I’m trying to gather information about it. Thank you.

Just off the Beyond, impossible to find two seats together in the solarium on sea days unless it is very early in the morning or late at night.

We just got back from Bimini a couple days ago. We booked the ships excursion to resort world, taking the tram there was quick and easy both coming and going, so it was no problem at all. However, there was a long line to use the tram for the people that did not have the ship excursion.

Going on Beyond soon and concerned about the solarium pool. From pictures I see only ladders and no steps. Can anyone verify this. Thanks

That’s what happened to me. I took the cruise line shuttle to the Miami airport and they stopped at an area that was a long, long walk to get to where I needed to be with luggage. I would never chance it again, just take a taxi or Uber or one of the available shuttles when you get off the ship.

Use Taxi or Uber instead of the hotel shuttle. It is easier and probably cheaper.

This is a bit off the subject but some cruise lines will not take sodas to check in anymore and if that is the case you will have to carry them with you which may be cumbersome. Last year I saw people at the lunch buffet schlepping around their carry-on bags with packs of soda.

I suppose it all depends if you’re interested in history. For me it was one of the most boring days of my life (just my personal opinion) but I went along with it because the group I was with wanted to do it. It was a long hot day, and we got eaten alive by mosquitoes. Maybe you could find out some more information about a meal included and such as that if one person is concerned about food. I’m assuming food is included since the tour is so long. Again, it’s just my opinion, I’m sure a lot of people find this tour very interesting.

I am wondering the same thing. We will be on the beyond in a few weeks in the infinite veranda cabins, wondering if the balcony dividers open.

I’m still confused about this. For my cruise the only time available to make reservations is 9 PM so what would happen if we showed up at 6 PM?

I would be a nervous wreck trying that. Were it me I would take a later flight or plan on spending the night and flying out the next day.

We stay in Titusville at the Hyatt, rates are always much less than staying in PC. Lots of places to eat and a short drive to the port.

Do you realize that hotels will charge you for the shuttle to go to the cruise port? They charge per person so it usually will be less money if you just take a taxi or Uber.
