Also as a FYI, the dining room staff only income is from gratitudes, Carnival doesn’t pay them any type of base pay, also on Venezia now a was told by a head server that prior cruise just under 50% of passengers removed their gratitudes and their pay was way less. If you figure the hours they work per day if that many passengers are not tipping they making like $3-5 dollars a hour. Never knew only pay they get is from tips.

So we go from being able to bring bottle water on ship, then to having to pay $4.95 for pack now they doubled it to $9.95. As a Diamond VIFP, this is getting old when each month Carnival keeps increasing prices or cutting back services etc., I know it is a tough situation with inflation, but $10 for a 12 pack of bottle water is crazy

As a monthly cruiser on carnival, correct they removed captain Morgan spice rum when they switched to Pepsi ( don’t know if coke owns Morgan or not) but now they offer a Bacardi Spice Rum not nearly as good especially with Pepsi. I just sneak on my captain and bring my 12 pack of coke cans each cruise, it’s by far my favorite drink.

Just got off 5 day cruise on Carnival Sunrise and couldn’t believe the amount of weed on the ship. You smelled it in hallways, casino, lido decks etc. last three cruises I have taken this year , the smell of weed throughout the ship is getting worse, reminds me of when I am in Vegas. Diamond member , 40 cruises on Carnival, but it’s getting old, suppose to be against rules but staff is turning their heads . If it continues I will look elsewhere to cruise or take vacations, just retired and had planned to cruise monthly on carnival. Got to love it, if I bring a bottle of soda with me they confiscate it , yet so many passengers bring weed on and no problem. But on the good side no roving teen groups getting into brawls like on my previous two carnival cruises.

Plus carnival could have informed passengers last night, gave free internet to passengers needing to change flights might have had a better chance to revised flights home, but hey wait till 7:00 am when you are suppose to be docking and then tell passengers it will be 12:30 PM

We had heavy rain yesterday morning nothing major, rest of yesterday was perfect , and again no explanation to us which is stupid, problems happen but no reason to not keep passengers updated, and again if they would have informed us last night would have been glad to stay in casino much later and give them more of my money.

As a Diamond Member their lack of updating the passengers is a joke, won’t say why they made a 5 hour circle, knew it last night and never told us, hell could have slept in this morning instead of getting up at 5:00 AM

So why did the glory do a complete circle last night and I cost us five hours

Currently in glory just announced this morning won’t dock till 12:30 CDT, but wasn’t say why they late, notice last night we were not moving for a time, anyone know why we so late, offering $200 if your flight isn’t made

Got off horizon on April 25, out of four in our group, two got sore throat last two days on cruise , be honest never thought anything about it, on Monday itchy cough, tested positive and other three adults also went I got tested all positive, all of us very mild symptoms none of us have had fever. Two of us have lost taste and smell, don’t blame carnival at all , can get anywhere and we didn’t wear mask so who knows if we spread to other passengers would guess so.
