  1. Call HAL and ask to speak to the Guest Access department, especially if the scooter is wider than 23 inches. Don't wait until you board.
  2. That is correct. Also, 15 Alcoholic Beverages is a limit, not a goal. That being said, you could have 15 check cocktails and lots and lots of water. You be fully loaded - like a baked potato - but still moist and hydrated.
  3. BTW - We booked the Elite Beverage Package outright for our cruise in a week and a half. It's our first cruise since 2018 and I don't want to jerk around with, "Can we upgrade or not?"
  4. Nope. Still unlimited non alcoholic drinks. This is from your link.
  5. Unless it's Elite in which case it's 15 alcoholic up to $15 and unlimited non alcoholic beverages.
  6. Sitting outside in the brutal 75 degree Fort Lauderdale winter. I can't see the Eurodam from our balcony as she is in 21. I'll pop out to wave goodbye when she passes.
  7. Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Sorry that the hospital food does not rate your usual photo montage. But if it does, caption it with "Club OR-ange". Hope you on the way to a full recovery!
  8. Also staging for the NS forward of the Neptune Lounge. Ice & linens if I recall. Laundry winds up there before being delivered to to people.
  9. We stayed on the ship in Fort Lauderdale, twice. But, like I said, it was a while ago.
  10. Our last B2B was a few years ago. We went to the main showroom and did not have to leave the ship. We still had two people who they had to track down in a hot tub on the Lido deck though.
  11. If you recently, or kind of recently did a cruise with a turn around day in Fort Lauderdale, did you have to leave the ship? Order did they sequester you somewhere until the ship zeroed out?
  12. Very excited to see your menus popping up in the Navigator app. As a planning people, we like to know. Now we are hoping that (a) wiener schnitzel appears, and (b) it's not on a night we have specialty dining booked. Do we lead exciting lives, or what?
  13. From the airport to the port, a taxi is the easiest, and probably least cost. We live in Fort Lauderdale, so we have a bit of experience in getting to and from the airport.
  14. PDF attachment, 2nd page probably. It'll be listed under Special Services.
  15. Sort of. And we picked it. We chose an SS that was a connecting room. On some classes of ships, the connecting door causes you to lose a closet. We are not, by any stretch of the imagination, light packers. We missed the closet, but the room was great otherwise.
  16. I really like the idea. Now I just have to find out if it's possible.
  17. Can you order from Nami Sushi in the bar at Tamarind? It seems like it would make for a nice happy hour because we typically eat dinner at 8:00 pm or later.
  18. As the foremost expert on what the ship looked like before and after drydock, how much of a difference does the expanded casino make? @Haljo1935
  19. If you give the phone rep your PCC's name and extension, but hold off on the payment until your PCC is in, the phone rep *should* assign it to the correct person for you.
  20. I can get to the booking hold but it's way down on the page that asks you to pay. It holds for several days and locks in the current promo. Then your PCC can fix up anything that needs fixing and take your payment. You can even change rooms on a held booking. The key is to get the booking #.

We have a few different sprays in our pantry. They're all oil based. Only one is rated for high heat because most of the smoke points are too low.
  22. Most of the Caribbean sailings are also part of larger, B2B or Collector's Cruises. When the inventory falls out of balance between the various legs of the cruise, you occasionally see entire segments become closed out even though there are rooms left. It could be that someone was working on the sailing but still has to finish up. If that's the case, you'll see rooms again Monday or Tuesday. On the other hand, it could be sold out. We are on the Nieuw Statendam on Dec. 10 - 17 and that's usually a soft week. It's completely sold out though.
  23. First of the "tune" 🎼 horns on the Disney Wonder. Still to go, Sky Princess and Odyssey of the Seas.
  24. Is there any benefit to booking on board? We have always gotten FCDs, but waited to book until we got home.
