  1. the only thing to potentially think about is lifeboat allocation.
  2. The European plug is often more useful for non Americans as it offers 220 rather 110.
  3. I am on the transatlantic in October and was recently notified of changes in arrival times but only on the first two ports and no change on departure times.
  4. They do add excursions but you are not that far out anyway. Excursions do book up as well so if there is something that you really want to do you might want to get a marker down, you can always cancel later on. Things like cabanas will book up as soon as they are offered. You can also think of booking an independent excursion, you can often find offers on your roll call if you are not confident enough to go solo.
  5. It happened to me leaving a ship in Miami and my suitcase was green. Took three weeks for it to return and then only because Delta went the extra mile, RC was no use at all. which is understandable in the circumstances Someone had collected my bag put it on a Delta flight and then abandoned it on the luggage carousel the other end. Delta flew it back to London for me and escorted me airside to pick it up and then to support my declaration to HM customs that I had no idea what could be in my case. When they opened nothing had been added but one item had been stolen by the way.
  6. My last cruise, November, they had people outside the doors and were intercepting people before they walked up or down to their muster station and ticking them off.
  7. At the moment you should have nothing to worry about but during higher Covid numbers ports could limit passengers going ashore to just those on cruise line tours. If you left the tour party and struck out on your own you could be thrown off the ship so things were pretty serious.
  8. I was advised in Dec by the LA to take the block on the ship or it might be months before they would ship it.
  9. I have found that if you give the waiter a target, like I would like to see the 7pm show, they will do their best to hit it.
  10. my check in keeps moving between 13 and 16 Oct which is slightly weird.
  11. I was paid $3,500 in cash on the last night, it seems that is just the way they do it. Of course I didn't have the US tax problem to worry about.
