  1. the limit for OBC is $1000. You can get any leftovers back in cash on the last morning if you don't spend it all. Also, looking into FAS+ and do the numbers. I say this because it does include Starbucks as well as water. It will give you extra meals, Internet for the trip and extra excursion credit. Only you know your habits, but look into it and see the costs and decide which is best for you.
  2. WOW. I'm now really looking forward to the white party. I find the glow parties to be amazing on NCL, so if MSC has it beat, I can't wait
  3. with the exception of online check-in (which I doubt I'll do), you can do all those other things without having an account.
  4. no, this is the correct thread. @ChiefMateJRK was asking it a few comments back
  5. no, you can't combine the two. And, as of now, they have never run a double up promo on the cruise first. But you can buy cruise first in the $500 denomination which is equivalent to 2 cruise next certs
  6. ttps://clip.cafe/once-upon-a-time-in-mexico-2003/a-man-wants-nothing-invincible-cabr-n/ I wasn't sure if we could post links. so add the "h" to the begging of this (so it says https) and enjoy
  7. could be, but NCL has always had the taxes and fees listed in small print under their cruises. I do see that other lines have the taxes listed (just like NCL always did), but NCL is so far the only site I've seen that shows the all in (well without the service charge) pricing listed in the actual search results
  8. no, you don't have this part totally correct. If you buy one CNC, it will cost you $150 and you get $250 credit to use on the next cruise. If you buy two or more at once, it will cost you $125 each, and you get $250 to use on another cruise. So you're not really get $100 (or $125) OBC to use. It's the discount for the CNC. It's best not to even think about the OBC. It's there to confuse people and trick them into thinking they need to go buy something with it
  9. I'm also a newbie MSC cruiser (all previous cruises have been on NCL), and I'm taking a 10 day cruise in June. It's actually B2B cruises, a 3 day and a 7 day. With everyone saying the short cruises are the party cruises, I guess I'll try to party hard with the kids for 3 days then take the next 7 to recover 🙂
  10. nice. was it just cookies, or did they also put out the finger food they used to?
  11. nice, so you have at least 5 credits! Enjoy
  12. NCL now list the taxes/fees in the listed price on the website. You can actually choose to see the prices with/without the taxes and fees, but at least for me, it was choses to show the taxes by default. I think this is a very nice change
  13. to the OP, just wanted to make sure you know that those 2 dinners are in addition to the credit(s) you get for the regular FAS. So you'll have at least 3 total dinners. Of course, I'm assuming you're not platinum or above, as you'd get two more dinners for your status
  14. OP is well within final payment, so they wouldn't be able to rebook anyway
  15. so they bought the snacks back to the casino? I was on the Getaway earlier this year, and no snacks in the casino at all.
  16. thanks. But won't they know I'm not on the ship when I badge out?
  17. Ahhh, I thought this was just something I didn't know about. Oh well, I do enjoy the Indian selections in the buffet. Although on my last cruise, I found that they lightened up on the spice
  18. Thanks. My Google search must have been flawed
  19. Hello. Another newbie question..... does msc offer a shareholder benefit? Thanks
  20. I hope not. I'm going on my first MSC cruise and I was assigned a boarding time on my booking document. The booking agent didn't actually ask me about a time. My plan is to just show up whenever. I'll show up around noon even though my time says 1:30
  21. I'm taking a cruise on the Seashore in June that is two back to back cruises, but it's booked as one cruise. For anyone that has done this before, do they treat you as if you have two back to back cruises on the turnaround day? What I mean is do they make you clear the ship or whatever procedure they have you follow when you have two different bookings? I would love to just sleep in really late, but if I have to get up and out anyway, I may do the Kennedy Space Center tour
  22. wow. I don't know what is funnier....the joke I was trying to make or the fact that I was replying to the wrong thread. LOL (I was thinking I was responding to the cookies thread)
  23. actually, the OP asked if they could use all four of their credits (two each for guest one and two) in one meal for 4 people, which is never allowed. but you're right, it morphed into sharing the meals (not the credits) amongst the 4 people. I was laughing earlier thinking that if my wife asked if she could try some of my meal because it looks good, I'd have to tell her no, it's not allowed 🙂 (according to some of the posters here on cc)
