According to this website http://1stmatecruises.com/nclcabins/ the balcony for cabin 11112 is 54 sq ft, the same size as the mini-suites on this floor and larger than the standard 37 sq ft balcony on category BA cabins on deck 10.

That's what I have read also. There are only four of them on Deck 11.

I booked exactly 90 days out, on Saturday, and I was able to get 6:00 for three nights and 5:30 for the other. Perfect for me! Book early!

That's my kind of food! No tamales though, huh?

Are the tables and chairs still on both sides of the deck? Also is there still a smoking and non-smoking side? Just curious!

How much is a bottle of water onboard?

I've been on 11 cruises with my 12th coming up in October. Honestly though, if NCL keeps hiking those prices up over and over again, and taking more from us, that's going to be it for me. I'm going to go to another cruise line. If everyone boycotted them for one year, they would have to rethink all of their changes. That's the thing though...everybody will continue to go with them.

I posted this on the Roll Call page, and I'm trying it here too. Hoping to get an answer soon. Thanks!
Planning this cruise next year again! Love going to Bermuda the last week of October. Question for you...The last week in Oct, this year, I had Cabin $12521 on the Dawn. I loved the placement of this cabin on Deck 12, and had hoped to book it again for 2015. The page showed that it was unavailable, and NCL said it was already booked. Just wondering if you think it might be held by a T.A. and might open up at some point? Or is it likely that it's already gone? I want to hold out, but I don't want to lose out on an Inside Cabin on Deck 12. Hubby has problems walking, and this deck is so convenient for him. Looking forward to replies. Thank you!

I fold mine, fill them out, and then laminate them. I make a hole in each end with a hole punch, and I attach them with zip ties. They are not going anywhere!

I am also a fan of Jose and Patti. I just realized they have a facebook page. Their schedule shows they will be on the Dawn again soon. I'm going in October, and I'm so glad they will be there. This is copied from their schedule page.
SEPTEMBER 5 NORWEGIAN DAWN through NOVEMBER 23
(PLEASE CHECK WITH THEIR WEBSITE OR YOUR TRAVEL AGENT FOR SPECIFIC DETAILS ON PORTS, AND EXACT DATES OF ALL SAILINGS)

As for the deck plans...I have the Ship Mate-Norwegian Cruise Lines App on my phone for the Dawn. It has My Cruises, Explore Your Ship, Plan Your Daily Itinerary, Research the Excursions, Chat w/Friends, Private Messages, Roll Call, Locate Your Ship, View Deck Cams, etc. It may be a little more helpful than Iconcierge, or in addition to it.

Also can u book one person in a cabin and add more later.
I have booked and paid the deposit for just myself before, then added someone else later. It's a good way to guarantee you have a cabin, and only need to pay the deposit for one person, if that's all you can afford at the time.

Thank you!!!!
You're welcome! :-)

I've used my credit card and put cash down before. Never had a problem either way. Cruised the Dawn last October with my friend. I used my credit card, and she used cash. They asked how much she wanted to put down, and she said $200. No questions asked. She got a rebate of $26 mailed to her in check form from NCL because she didn't use it all. We pre-pay our gratuities because it's much easier, and you start out the cruise with a zero balance. Hope this helps ease your mind a little.

I filled my luggage tags out, folded them, and took them to Staples to be laminated. They put three or four on a sheet, and I just had to cut between them. I used a hole punch for the holes, (goes right through lamination) and put zip locks through them. Nothing was going to make those fall off. :-)

I'll look into that. Thanks!

When I booked my cruise for October, I was given credit from my TA. At the time, NCL was not offering any for that booking. I just noticed on ncl.com, for that date, there is OBC. I am paid in full now, but I was wondering...Is this something my TA can get for me from NCL, or would that be for new bookings only? Not sure how that works.

Thank you very much!

I booked this cabin for an October cruise. I've searched, and come up with something about this cabin having two steps going into the room, and that the room is extremely small. Has anyone stayed in there, and if so, do you have pics of the room? Any info would be appreciated. Thank you!

Does anybody know where Caribbean Wave is right now, and if they will be on the Dawn in October or not?

I don't understand why someone would be so concerned about what others are wearing. Dressing up is optional on Norwegian. If you choose to dress for dinner, that's fine, but don't look down on others who prefer to be casual and comfortable.

Just wondering...how do you get the free casino cruise? I know you must have to spend a lot of money to get it, but can someone explain how this works? Thanks!

Thanks everyone! Glad to hear they are having good weather.

My daughter and my grandkids are onboard this week. Just wondering how the weather is.

Just want to let you all know that I just heard back from my TA. She was able to make the adjustment, and I saved $148. I'm happy about that. Thanks for your help!
Best time to do the alaska inside passage cruise?

Considering May at this time. Any thoughts on that? What time would be better? Any ideas would be appreciated, including decent hotels in Seattle. Thanks!
