Hello, We are sailing out of Port Everglades in late February and trying to find a nice hotel for 1 night. While researching, found that hotels near the cruise port are extremely expensive. Trying to find a decent, reasonably priced hotel maybe a little bit away (near Airport, Dania Beach or Hollywood). A few factors we need to keep in mind, our flight arrives around 9:00 am so we would have the hotel hold our bags and we would head to the beach to relax for the day. So I know if we stay near the airport, it will cost us more to get an uber to/from the beach along with the uber costing more to get us to the cruise port. Both of those added expenses could offset staying closer to the cruise port. I have looked through multiple threads and wanted to get some more opinions. Thanks for your help!

In the Specialty dining restaurants, can you order more than 1 appetizer and/or dessert? Many times, it is hard to decide which starter you want and being able to order a 2nd would be great.

Trying to decide if I want to do the Native Choice Chaccoben and Bacalar tour or just do the ruins and then go to a beach. The problem is, not sure what beach to go to?

We will be in Cozumel in early December and thinking about going to Mr. Sanchos. There will be 4 ships in port but only one mega ship. What is the maximum capacity of Mr. Sanchos? I have read that they cap it around 400 but have also seen where people have said around 900.

In Bonaire, if you snorkel, contact Woodwind and book a tour with them. Klein Bonaire, extremely close to Bonaire, has some of the best snorkeling in the world with a beautiful reef. You do a drift snorkel instead of swimming around a shipwreck or something else. They drop you off at one location and you just drift with the current and they pick you up on the end. Highly recommend!!

Does it really matter who is the captain? Hopefully any of them will avoid hitting an iceberg in the Caribbean. ☺️

If you have the premium package, does that cover the entire cost at the Martini bar?

Exactly. What is the list? I guess they can make most drinks from liquors in the classic package.

Your link only shows what is included in each of the 2 beverage packages. It does not tell you how much actual mixed drinks are?

From the reports and pictures, it looks like Lahaina was pretty devastated. May be a long time before visitors go there. Not sure how much of Front street in Lahaina was left not burned.

I am thinking about booking a Celebrity cruise. I looked on the AARP website and read the "fine print". It gave a phone number (888-837-5676 ) for Celebrity customer service. They said that I cannot use the gift cards toward the initial payment when booking but CAN use them (up to $500 per person- Total of $1000 per stateroom) towards any other payment. So, you should be able to use it for your final payment. You may want to call just to be safe to make sure you get the same answer from another person.

Depending on the price you can get to upgrade to the premium package, is it worth the extra price? How much is a grey goose (premium liquor) and cranberry? If there are mixed drinks with multiple liquors in it, are those usually priced higher than $10?

I am looking at booking a cruise on the Equinox and doing some research. I called Celebrity asking a question about what types of drinks that are included with the classic beverage package. The representative I spoke to said that it only covers the basic drinks (rum and coke, gin and tonic, etc). I asked about a margarita or daquiris and he said that you may have to pay more if it is over the $10 price point. Can someone please clarify that for me? Are you truly limited to simple drinks being included? I understand if I want a higher brand of liquor that you would pay a little more. For the specialty dining packages, I asked if it entitles you to only 1 appetizer, 1 entree and 1 dessert or if you want 2 different appetizers and desserts it is included. He said that when purchasing the dining packages, it gets you entry into the specialty restaurant and you can order one of everything and there is no additional charge. We have sailed on Royal before and typically it it 1 entree and multiple appetizers and desserts. Thank you for the help.

Hello, I am looking at booking a cruise on the Equinox for mid Feb that goes to Grand Cayman and the ABC islands.9 day cruise I was hoping that someone would have some copies of the Celebrity Today (daily planning of all activities) to be able to see what there is to do each day. I spoke to Celebrity and they gave me the name so I hope it is correct. It is the same thing on Royal as the Compass. For example: what type of music is being played in each bar, what time are the shows, trivia... Thank you

Hello, We are sailing on the Harmony in December on a 7 day cruise. Looking to book the Chops +1 dining package and trying to figure out which day to make the reservations. Can anyone tell me what theme is on which day to make sure we do not miss one that we want or miss lobster night? Thanks

I spoke to Celebrity and they told me that the typical age that they cater to is 40's and up. With that being said, is there 70 and 80's music and maybe some classic rock being played? Not everyone listens to cool jazz, easy listening and classical music. Not that it is bad but not my favorite.

What type of music and dancing is going on in the Plaza?

Hello everyone, We have never sailed Celebrity. What is the atmosphere in the evenings? Particularly after the shows. How are the comedians? Are they adult in nature (maybe not raunchy) but more geared toward adult humor. Is there anywhere to get a late night snack besides room service? maybe a slice of pizza or a sandwich? Are there any bars that will be playing classic rock or 80's style music? Is there live music by the pools during the day? Is there trivia or any game shows (love and marriage) We typically sail on Carnival, Royal or Norwegian.

It will either be the Reflection or Equinox. We are close to your age. Wanted to be sure that on Celebrity it was not going to be quiet in the evenings. On Royal, there was plenty to do . We typically go to dinner, see a show and then go to a bar and have a few drinks and listen to some music if we do not have to get up real early to go ashore the next day.

It will only be my wife and I sailing.

The dates we are looking at for Celebrity are fine. Reflection on Feb 3 and Equinox on Feb 24.
