We just booked with RV Tours for our cruise in November. I spoke to the owner Rene and he fully explained the tours and even customized it for what we wanted to do. His price was very good compared to others. By booking ahead of time, you will know what type of tour you are getting and not taking a chance to being ripped off.

There are only 1250 on the Getaway this week. That is about 25% full.

Hello everyone, We will be sailing on the Getaway in early November. Seeing posts from someone doing a live review that is on the ship now and they said that there is around 1400 people on board. Maybe around 1,000 next week. Guessing our sailing will be low since it is in the sailing offseason. What is the vibe of the ship when there is not so many people onboard? Sure it will be great not dealing with the lines but does it feel like a ghost town and how is the normal energy and excitement compared to when the ship is full? Happy cruising!

Something on the level of Florida Fresh Grill. Possibly that has good fresh fish or Seafood.

Hello, We will be arriving a few days early for a cruise going out of Port Canaveral. Trying to find a good restaurant to go to. We eat all types of food. We are sailing out of Port Canaveral in November. We are staying at the Best West Cocoa Beach Hotel and Suites. It was a decent price.

I occasionally tips the bartenders. Especially the one's you visit often. When someone gets a direct tip, it goes straight into their pocket and is not split many ways. You would be amazed how your drink may be a little stronger and you get served faster when there are a lot of people waiting. They remember who you are.

I have never been to a Meet & Greet. Going to my first on our Getaway cruise in November. Can someone please explain to me what is the big deal about the Officers attending other than to say you have seen them. It would be cool though to meet the captain but everyone else? Do they give you anything or they just show their face and say hello and answer a few questions and leave.

We decided on the Best Western Cocoa Beach. We will be able to see the ocean and a very short walk to sit on it.

Once you book all your shows, are there a lot of time slots available at all the specialty restaurants to make needed changes to what you already reserved?

Trying to see if we will be able to make a catamaran excursion with Eagle Tours at 10:00 AM. They said it is about a 15 minute walk from the port to where we will check in and get on the tour. Thank you for your advice.
