  1. This is normal with MSC. I think that in 3-4 months the dates between June 13 and the end of July will be removed in the reservation systems in order to still generate bookings.
  2. MSC announces on 15.07. 3. Now it is official: https://www.mscbook.com/shop/WelcomePage?catalogId=10001&langId=-1013&storeId=12260 (in dutch) "Voor alle scheepsactiviteiten in Noord-Europa is de tijdelijke stopzetting verlengd tot en met 18 oktober 2020"
  4. MSC Preziosa all remaining cruises from/to Hamburg have just been canceled by October 28, 2020 (including TA to Brazil). According to the current status, the ship is going directly from Ocean Cay to Brazil, even though I am also skeptical that the Brazil season is taking place ... MSC Meraviglia also remains "over there" in the Bahamas. All departures from/to Hamburg in the period 01.08. - 05.09.2020 are now cancelled. The first cruise from Miami "after corona" is scheduled for October 31, 2020.
  5. All MSC cruises fleetwide with start from 11th to 31th July are "sold out" now. The next round of cancellations is waiting for us! 😁
  6. MSC ALWAYS still needs 2-3 weeks to import updates into the booking system and to cancel the departures concerned ... It was always like that at MSC!
  7. No, November 1st from Civitavecchia and November 2st from Genua 😉 I myself was booked on November 1st from Civitavecchia. 😪
  8. Source: https://www.meretmarine.com/fr/content/chantiers-de-latlantique-la-livraison-du-msc-virtuosa-repoussee-de-plusieurs-mois (unfortunately behind the paywall ..., sorry!) According to current intern planning, the ship should now be delivered in March 2022 instead of November 2021.

  10. Yes, MSC also has tight budgets. Today, the OBC compensation of € 100 / € 200 (depending on the length of the canceled cruise) was eliminated in many markets (including Germany, Portugal, France, Spain etc.). 😑😔
  11. Yes, correct, 2 seadays on the way to Barcelona instead of Malta on this trip.
  12. This cruise is now fully booked. So it may be that it has now been cancelled.
