Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We are taking our family on a Caribbean cruise next February 2023. Each of our two grandkids (ages 27 and 25) have significant others, but they (the grandkids) are unsure today as to whether the significant other will be coming on the cruise. Our intention is to book each of the grandkids their own room no matter what. Are we better off: 1) Booking each room as if the significant other will be coming and then cancel the significant other later on - presumably at least 90 days before sail date. or 2) Booking each room as a single occupancy and then adding the significant later if they choose to come. I know that there are premiums to be be paid for single occupancies. Just trying to understand of these two approaches - which might be better if it's a coin flip as to whether the significant other will be travelling.
