SCAM ALERT: Watch out for guy who will ask if you speak English
sealeggs replied to Waking life's topic in San Juan, PR
That is him. We had an encounter with him the last time we sailed out of San Juan. He approached us by El Morro Fort and before he could start I asked him how his father was doing and he turned around and left us alone. -

That right there is the best answer you can get. Opt out of the automati tip unless you do my time dining and tip the people you want to tip in cash. -
Favourite Royal Caribbean Embarcation Port
sealeggs replied to Airbear232's topic in Royal Caribbean International
I totally agree. Nothing better than starting your cruise in the Caribbean!!! When we have sailed from San Juan we usually arrive 2 days early and will stay at least 1 day after. -
The last time we were at Bacardi, you received 3 drink tickets that you redeemed in the Pavilion. I understand there is a fee you pay now to do a tour and it includes a complimentary drink. Is there a way to purchase more drinks?

I like your sense of humor. -
I get excited when I can print my luggage tags. I'm just a kid at heart and cruising is the greatest vacation I can think of. From looking where we want to go and actually booking the cruise. Then comes the wait and anticipation of planning what to do. I read everything about where we will be going and what the port of calls has to offer. Then we book airfare and look for hotels to stay in before we cruise. We always come in at least a day early and after the cruise. I hate trying to get to the airport on the day we get back. We always stay at least 1 day and sometimes 2 after the cruise.

What is Halloween like onboard?
sealeggs replied to Qwltngcruiser's topic in Royal Caribbean International
We did a transatlantic on Liberty 8 years ago from Barcelona that was over Halloween. The crew did a great job putting up decorations and as someone else said they had a haunted house set up in Studio B. They had a parade for the guests and my son, daughter in law and grandson won the the prize. They all were dressed up as fighter pilots. That was an awesome cruise. -
You mean 2 bottles of wine!!! LOL

For Me Miami Vice My wife Mojito We will be drinking these in 11 days on the Wonder Of The Seas!

Well we are the exceptions. We do dress for formal nights. Even the grandsons have Tux's. We really like the idea of dressing for dinner on those 2 nights. As people before have mentioned, it is up to the person. If you don't want to get dressed up, no one will think anything about it. It is your vacation. Don't worry and have a blast!

Yes, I read the Trip Advisor comments. I was hoping to see if anyone had actually used them. I will probably go ahead and book one of their excursions and i am sure it will be great. Thank you!

Has anyone used this tour company? If so how was it and was it worth the cost? Any other information would be greatly appreciated. We will be in Roatan the first week of June on a cruise. Thank you!

Thanks, I appreciate it!

No, we will keep it. I hate to say it but i am also looking forward to it. The last time we were on Coco Cay, it was just an island, albeit with things to do but not this.

Thanks Mike. I hadn't taken the time to do that research. Work is hectic and only going to get worse as the cruise date gets closer. Oh well at least time is not dragging!!!
-
Well consider me one of the suckers. My wife and i took the plunge and got the waterpark excursions for our 4 grandsons. We will be there on June 5th on Wonder. My fear is there will be other RCI ships docked there also. it will be bad enough with 6000 people just from our ship. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers!!!

Thanks, I figured since i couldn't get it on the app, i went to the website and booked the shows. We leave for Orlando in 29 days. Coming 1 day early and staying at the Embassy Suits MCO. Getting real excited about getting back on a ship. It has been 4 years since we have sailed. We have had cruise withdrawl for 3 1/2 years!
-
Mike, I was just on the app and it didn't give dates and show times for the reservations. Did i miss something? We have 10 of us and would like to get the shows reserved. Thanks
-
I should have known that. Thanks!

Does anyone know what the shows are on WOS? I know they have an ice show and a show in the Aqua Theatre, but what are the shows in the theatre if anyone knows? TIA!

I'm with you. I actually bought a tux a while ago to take on our cruises. 2 is enough.
