  1. That may vary ship to ship. We did a B2B on Quantum in Seattle this past September. At the B2B meeting in Bolero's they gave us our new cards before we walked off the ship. We used the old cards to exit the ship to the terminal and the new cards to come back aboard the ship when it reopened for boarding.
  2. A minor nit here. You do not choose your "boarding time." What you are choosing is the time you should arrive at the terminal to begin the check-in process.
  3. Maybe we should petition RCL to bring back the Diamonds in December promotion. But yes, that double points promotion really benefited us, a B2B gave us 56 points this past August / September and put us over the 350 mark!
  4. We cruised in the deck 12 aft corner sky suite on Silhouette last March/April and had no issues with soot at all. We also did not have any noise issue from the outdoor seating area above. The window washing equipment was parked there our entire cruise but it was not a bother to us at all.
  5. I have owned and used Bose QC and Sony noise cancelling over the ear headphones when traveling for years. I currently have a pair of Beats Audio noise cancelling earbuds that I now use when traveling, including on cruise ships. Often my wife and I will want to look/listen to different things on our iPads and I'll put on my earbuds so my audio does not disturb her and hers does not disturb me.
  6. We've done one cruise on an S Class that did not go through the locks. We are scheduled on Millennium for the Westbound in April - May of 2023 Fort Lauderdale to Los Angeles.
  7. Log into your account at Royal Caribbean.com select Plan My Cruise on the booking in question in the upper right hand corner select your initials select Order History.
  8. We were in a Sky Suite on the port side (2125 - 2137) area a few years back and the nose was bad. I believe our room was 2129 but cannot say for sure. After complaining a couple of times about being woken up at 0430, the Suite Concierge gave us some FCC. Apparently our room was right under the area where all of the service cards the staff used when cleaning up and that area was not carpeted. I learned in Michael''s club there were a couple of other guest in that area that had issue as well.
  9. Yes, my adding my stockholder OBC did not affect the OBC from my TA or from Royal/Celebrity.
  10. Or just your room number, where they can look up whether you have a package or not.
  11. I love the camera on my 13 Pro Max but I think I'll skip upgrading to the 14 Pro Max and see what comes out after that. I have been every other version for a number of years now.
  12. You have inspired me. I am going to see if I can get vindaloo, especially lab but will settle for beef, chicken, or pork, on my next cruise 🙂 We went for Filipino dishes on our last cruise. We had pancit for lunch and chicken and pork adobo with dinner in Coastal Kitchen.
  13. I agree 100 percent. Go somewhere for the long term and get as comfortable as possible. The worst I have experienced was when the ship, US Navy vessel, tried to turn around in a hurricane. We were cleaning foot prints off the bulkheads (walls) after it was all over. We put a weight on a string and a protractor and measured one roll at 40 degrees. I never want to experience that again.
  14. The one thing that Royal Caribbean does on the Oasis and Quantum class that I wish Celebrity would do is serve lunch in Luminae on port days. Otherwise, as I said when we were on Quantum, Celebrity sets the bar really high for service , especially for guest sailing in Suites. I cannot wait to hear about your experience.
  15. I do not understand the use of overbooked. The ship may be fully booked but there are only so many canines and bds so overbooking would result in someone not being allowed to sail, similar to when air planes are over booked. I can understand there not being the appropriate staff to passenger ratio, but as others have said, there are any numbers of reason that may be the case.
  16. I have not been able to find Blanton’s in my area of VA in years. When they get it in, it is only sold by lottery basis.
  17. On our last sailing we were on Quantum and Coastal Kitchen was open for lunch every day, including port days. Is this the same on Oasis class ships as well?
  18. Yes, I have had quite a few bottles of these as recent as March/April of this year on Silhouette.
  19. PDF worked. Received updated invoices from Celebrity yesterday. Also checked my RCL cruise and OBC was there as well.
  20. No big deal, I was just curious since Coastal Kitchen on Harmony is on the opposite side of where it is on Oasis and Allure. That was my first Royal Caribbean live review. My previous ones had been for sailings on Celebrity. I am hoping to do a live review on our February cruise on Harmony.
