On our last cruise, Hilario out "personal retreat host", was amazing. Just as an example, he saw us as we were talking toward our room after coming back from being ashore and stopped to talk with us. He asked about our day and what our plans were. We mentioned getting a quick bite to eat, it was lunch time, and he ask if we would like a turkey club sandiwch. We both said yes. He told us to go wait in our rooms and he would bring them to us right away. Not 15 minutes later he was back with sandwiches, fries (still hot), and the drinks we ordered. He set them up on our balcony and we had a wonder lunch.

My favorite version of pot roast is cooked in a crockpot. Beef stew also taste wonderful when simmered overnight in a crockpot. You'd be amazed at what goodness can come from a crockpot.

Both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are moving toward using the App. I believe, at least for now, you can request printed copies from your cabin steward.

I did a review back in March Apil of our Southern Caribbean sailing in Suite 2153. Long story short - we loved it. It may be the last one because there is a slight obstruction to the view forward due to the window washing equipment but it never proved to be a hinderance for us. We had no issues with noise from the outside are of the Oceanview Cafe nor with any smells or debris from the smokestack. We spent a lot of time on the balcony and really enjoyed the view of the wake and some beautiful sunsets.

I love the QR code they provide to make comments directly to the Hotel Manager. I used it quite often on our cruises since the re-start to point out specific issues and to give praise, by name, for specific staff.

My experience has been that they are generally the same. There may be the occasion variation.

Our of curiosity I just looked at the Luminae menu for our 15-day sailing on Millennium next April. It shows the menu out to day and for the remainder of the days, 9 -16 it shows "Venue Closed." Since we are so far away from that sailing, I will just assume that the menu will show up as we get closer to the sailing date. The menu reflects the same for our November 2023 12 day sailing on Millie.

Ah I missed that. Sorry.. On Royal Royal the Diamond Drink Vouchers can be used any time but it does not work that way on Celebrity for the Elite Happy Hour drinks.

I do not believe this is the case. You did not mention your status with Royal but if you are Diamond or above you will be Elite on Celebrity. Elite has a happy hour with free drinks each night but it is only during that time frame and is limited to specific brands or drinks. Now, if you booked with an all inclusive fare, you will have a drink package which gets you 'free drinks' up to the package's limit.

Got it. Thank you. It was the "All S1" that threw me. I did not luck out and win the Suite lottery. We are on deck 6 for both cruises by in the S1's that are midship.

I am currently not having a problem using my iPad or Andreoid tablet with the Celebrity app.

That makes sense but there is plenty of time to work it out. The only real difference is makes is whether to take bathing suits or not. If not going to the Persian Garden, will not need. We normally do not do the pool or hot tubs.

Okay, now I am confused. In this post It is stated that on "M class all the current S1 category will be Aqua Suites .." So, unless I am missing something, both cannot be true.

One additional thing we do when staying in the same room on a B2B is to tell our stateroom attendant that a deep cleaning is nor needed and that we really only need sheets and towels changed. On our last B2B, the stateroom attendant changed the sheets the last sea day instead of on turn around day. Told him to take care of the other rooms and not to worry as much about us.

We are sailing in an S1 Sky Suite on Millennium in April and November of next year. Does this mean these will be reclassified as Aqua Sky Suites and we will have full access to the Persian Garden?
