Since we are on the food subject, where is a nice place to have Breakfast besides the WJ? Does the Two70 serve Breakfast?
Haven't done the new bistro but I thought American Icon was great for both breakfast and lunch.

Does a departure from Sydney differ from a departure from a US port?
YES! Listening to a ship full of Aussie accents is awesome! :)
-
Might it be possible the newer the ship, the more seasoned crew members are assigned to train new crew members just hired, and are not particularly happy about it?
Just a thought.

Since most of the passengers head to Two70 as soon as they board the Windjammer may not be that bad as far as waiting in line. And I see a nice place to sit out on the aft deck just off the WJ.
OK, now you're giving out all the secrets :D:D:D
The Jammers aft deck is a great, GREAT place to sit and eat.
Not to sure about the D lounge. On Quantum last year, it wasn't open for lunch. It would be great if it was serving lunch, though.
The wait depends on what time you board the ship, IMHO. Earlier is better, but remember, they let you on when THEY want. An example would be going to your assigned section after check-in and sticking to your assigned boarding time.
Others have reported they can walk right on the ship after boarding opens. Maybe it depends on the all important C and A status?
-
TY, i guess it will have to wait being everyone seems to run to the 270 rite off the gangway. :(
I think you board early enough to make it.

I was just wondering if the charged it all to our room/cruise. Not the actual physical card. Alcoholic beverages are obviously not included. Those are the kind of thing i am referring too.
Yes. Anything on the land portion must be paid by cash or credit card.

Princess uses the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. It is included in your package.
My 7 and 8 day connoisseur tours included most ,but not all, meals. I would think the 5 day would include some also??? Can you get into Princess.com and view this?

How refreshing to hear some positive comments for a change! Keep 'em coming.
Could we all stop offering this up as a tip? lolI told my family of 11 that we should head right to Two70 after we board as it will be less crowded.
Now I am going to have another game plan! I am taking this cruise with 6 first time cruisers and I don't want them to have a bad experience with lines the second they get on board. :)
My thoughts exactly. :D Guess I'll go to plan B and do the 'Disney' thing. Start at the back of the park and work my way forward, or, ship-wise, start at the top deck and find who ever will serve me, then work my way down.
And, no, I'm not thinking food. :p
Hope you have an awesome trip!

Bob, since you are going to use this thread for your live posting, can I ask what Deck RC Online is? Thanks.
If your looking for the computers go to 270 then up the stairs, port side.

Hope you have a wonderful and relaxing cruise. Looking forward to your views when you get home.

Ours has HDMI ports and I took a pic but it won't upload for me. ( balcony room)
Thanks! From now on I'm taking pictures to remind myself...obviously, my memory is shot.

the little thingie holding the tv flat is on the left, iirc. I don't know the name of this kind of connection. It's just a piece on the tv that fits snugly into the piece on the wall. Give it a good yank, and it will disconnect. Eta: Oh, and only pull from one side. Only one side comes off. If you are trying to pull from both sides, thinking that it telescopes out from the center, then you would be stymied. :)
photos: Use one of the larger screens in the photo area, and the watermarks won't block the picture as much.
Yes, always get there early for your show reservations, but especially in two70.
this!:):):)

Thank you for telling Matt this. I meant to earlier, but lost track in his beautiful pictures. :)
Do you remember if there were HDMI connections?

Actually, the TV does pull out. Pull harder ;)
Gigi's scarf is a bandaid, damage from 'the storm'.
Glad you're having a great cruise!

If you are solo in a cabin you get 2 points per night instead of 1. You also get one additional point a night if you are in a suite.
Unless, of course, you are in a Studio Cabin. Then you only get one point per night.

Bees are still free.
I refuse to take a cruise without freebees. ;) Honey agrees.
(Although I do my best not to make fun of spelling errors, I couldn't resist)

I concur. It seems their system just doesn't want to acknowledge it. A quick phone call worked for me.
