  1. Since most of the passengers head to Two70 as soon as they board the Windjammer may not be that bad as far as waiting in line. And I see a nice place to sit out on the aft deck just off the WJ.

OK, now you're giving out all the secrets :D:D:D

The Jammers aft deck is a great, GREAT place to sit and eat.

Not to sure about the D lounge. On Quantum last year, it wasn't open for lunch. It would be great if it was serving lunch, though.

The wait depends on what time you board the ship, IMHO. Earlier is better, but remember, they let you on when THEY want. An example would be going to your assigned section after check-in and sticking to your assigned boarding time.

Others have reported they can walk right on the ship after boarding opens. Maybe it depends on the all important C and A status?

  2. I was just wondering if the charged it all to our room/cruise. Not the actual physical card. Alcoholic beverages are obviously not included. Those are the kind of thing i am referring too.

Yes. Anything on the land portion must be paid by cash or credit card.

  3. Princess uses the Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. It is included in your package.

My 7 and 8 day connoisseur tours included most ,but not all, meals. I would think the 5 day would include some also??? Can you get into Princess.com and view this?

  4. How refreshing to hear some positive comments for a change! Keep 'em coming.

Could we all stop offering this up as a tip? lol

I told my family of 11 that we should head right to Two70 after we board as it will be less crowded.

Now I am going to have another game plan! I am taking this cruise with 6 first time cruisers and I don't want them to have a bad experience with lines the second they get on board. :)

My thoughts exactly. :D Guess I'll go to plan B and do the 'Disney' thing. Start at the back of the park and work my way forward, or, ship-wise, start at the top deck and find who ever will serve me, then work my way down.

And, no, I'm not thinking food. :p

Hope you have an awesome trip!

  5. the little thingie holding the tv flat is on the left, iirc. I don't know the name of this kind of connection. It's just a piece on the tv that fits snugly into the piece on the wall. Give it a good yank, and it will disconnect. Eta: Oh, and only pull from one side. Only one side comes off. If you are trying to pull from both sides, thinking that it telescopes out from the center, then you would be stymied. :)

photos: Use one of the larger screens in the photo area, and the watermarks won't block the picture as much.

Yes, always get there early for your show reservations, but especially in two70.
