I don't like the sound of "just keep walking up the steps" :o My knees really don't like steps and steep hills! I might just get a taxi up to the Cathedral and get it to drop me at the shopping centre on the way back , then I can just walk down,,down is good!

You can't miss me either RR,,I'm larger than life too,,and you'll hear my Adypoos keep saying loudly,,NO Lexy,,you can't have another Bacardi yet:rolleyes: Really,,why not,,I'm on holidoodles and I'm 50 so shut up and go to the bar darling;) And if Dancing Queen is played at the sailaway party ,,or Agadoo,,or Gangnam,,I'm the one who doesn't quite know the dance but tries very hard!

We are out of East Midlands at 7am so should also be aboard by lunchtime:D We tried to find that shopping centre last year but I think we went the wrong way! We also said we'd meet Mr and Mrs Mallorca chap at 4pm on the sea day but it went wrong cos we had that change of itinerary didn't we MC:rolleyes: We need a plan B in case it happens again!

Those of you that have been before,,do you think it's possible to do both Bruges and Blankenburg on the same day? Have been looking at it all and wondering what we will do for the whole day in Bruges on a Sunday.

P.S..I'm looking forward to meeting new friends too!

Is anybody on here going on the first trip out? Clocks are counting down nicely now RR aren't they! I just need to get through Mothers Day (am florist ;) ) and then I can properly think about my upcoming trips:D

Well this cabin thing is extremely complicated. I booked the 3 nighter to Bruges on Azura about 2 weeks ago on the cheap option, not entirely sure what we are calling it now but I know it as the Getaway fare. I booked a balcony cabin and have had an email today with the cabin number etc, we've been given a midships cabin on Riviera deck. I'm happy with that but then again it doesn't bother me where we are really just for 3 nights. I hope that this cabin allocation issue doesn't become the main topic of conversation with fellow passengers!

Does this new man know how to be a Captain? Has he done it before?

This is most confusing..I booked the Bruges mini-cruise on a saver fare and chose a balcony cabin, any balcony cabin,I don't care where. Does this mean I won't actually get a balcony cabin then?

This may be a really stupid question but,,how do you know if the Wi-Fi is free? :o

I can try and be good company but can't promise the sunshine! It's got to be fairly pleasant down those parts of Spain by then,,it's better than being at home whatever the weather innit:D

We had 705 last year, that sounds like it may be on the same deck as yours. Yes it was obstructed views in places but more annoying was the fact that people were sunbathing right outside your windows and having a good old nose through your window! They were banging about at the crack of dawn with sunbeds.

Yes, it's a nice little 3 nighter on the beautiful Azura to Bruges:D I've had my eye on it for a few weeks now and my Adypoos booked the days off and said book it darling as you work so very hard and you're facing 50 and you deserve a treat!! He just wants me to be happy,, but for complete happiness I want an Audi TT and a Norwegian Fjord cruise as well,,and maybe a week on a beach for good measure! :rolleyes: Oh and a conservatory! I've been to Bruges but only on a 2hr stop when I went to Amsterdam on a coach holiday about 15 years ago, so I've not really been properly.

I've just discovered fiftyplus,,I quite like some of their stuff but usually I'm an Evans girl due to my various curves! Yesterday I googled "cruisewear" and got lots of good results but can't remember them!

How awful. I had labyrinthitis once, it was horrible, but resolved itself. I can't imagine having it all the time!

Ohhhh I've had that Linda,,think it's flaring up again at the minute :( It's awful and I wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Last Easter there was a lady who had done cruises with all the big names and 23 on the Escape! When RR asked her why she kept coming back she said "cos it's the only ship I know with a heart" :) I thought that was lovely!

Ahhh thanks peeps:D I'm seeing it as a time for reflection! Looking forward to grandchildren as well at some point ,,if only I could get my 2 kids married off! More holidays sounds alright to me;)
