Annnnd, it does some fabulous itineraries!
-
Hurrahhhh,,what's HVAC?

What do they do with the ship during the winter months? Is it cleaned and tarted up etc? I bet it's quite spooky, an empty ship just sitting there like that. Do we know if there have been any refurbishments?

Let's all club together and buy it! We could sail around wherever we wanted and have a blast:D

Is it just me that's still struggling with this new website?? I just cannot make it do what I want it to. They've already lost 1 of my trips this year to Monarch,,and it's looking like they'll be losing another! All I want is 5 or 7 nights somewhere warm over may bank hol in a nice adults only hotel but it's like asking for the impossible:rolleyes:
-
As long as it's in Palma on the 22nd April for my S&S :D Seriously though,,what would happen if they did suddenly sell it? Isn't it on some website for sale at 80something million$?

Just noticed cappers you doing island escape .you will find a big difference in island escape and spirit. It was an old car ferry not a patch on spirit ( sorry to say this) but at least you will be all inc
Ohh I've been on the Escape a few times now and I like it very much. It's a very happy friendly ship with a big heart! I also love Azura though,,she's a ship and a half;) The ships aren't the most important thing to me and my husband though, we choose a cruise for the itinerary which some people say you shouldn't because they often change unexpectedly but I wouldn't choose a hotel in a place I didn't fancy going to, that's just how my mind works.

I've done most of the ports of call on the first week of Ventura's cruise. It's a fabulous itinerary, I looked at the April 23rd sailing for my birthday but have actually gone with Thomson because I found a cruise with POC I haven't been to! I like both companies, I like the big newer ships for their facilities and size but I don't think you can beat Thomson ships for atmosphere;) I fully intend to partake of a week on Ventura later in the summer:D

Before anybody says anything,,I love Benidorm, it's my second home! I go at least 3 times a year, which is clearly why I don't have the most expensive cabins on fancy ships;)
-
Or you could just do what I do and tell them you usually go to Benidorm but thought you'd try something different :D:D
-
Pre-paid toilet cards..excellent stuff :D:D
-
Thank you Jenny:D That's very helpful stuff!

Now then peeps..this Souks and Sangria malarkey,,I haven't been to any of these places we are going to! I'm very excited:D I've just been looking at shore excursions but not much took my fancy except a couple in Motril for Granada and the Alhambra. So to those of you that have done this cruise before I am in need of your superior knowledge of the ports of call. As Poirot would say,,tell to me if you will the usual and useful hints and tips about where we dock, how far is it into town,,is there a beach etc. What did you do in the ports? You know what I mean! Pretttty please. As we'll be in Tangiers on my birthday I want to do something really Morroccan:D

On the subject of mini-cruises,,,am looking at Azura's sailings to Bruges. One on 4th April and the other on 10th May,,4th April one is 3 nights and other one is 2 nights. Am I right in thinking that on the 3 nighter we would be just sailing aimlessly around the north sea for a day and night then going into Bruges and leaving on the same day in the evening to sail home overnight? If so, would the 2 nighter be a faster sail to Bruges or would we just get half a day there? Both appeal to me but I want to clarify the difference! Hope I made sense:o

Have a happy birthday Linda and a fabulous cruise:D

Meet you in the bar is the best conversation on holidoodles innit:cool: I hope we have some pleasant enough weather so I can spend plenty of time at my favourite I.E watering hole,,the much loved Sailaway bar!

It's the Dream..it will be lovely. I too was panic stricken a couple of years ago after booking our first cruise and reading bad reviews,,it's just bitterness and pettiness a lot of the time. It will be fabulous.

Can anybody tell me if the suites on the Celebration are properly big enough and suitable for 3 adults please. My boss is wanting to book Colourful Coasts in March for him, his partner and his 24 year old daughter,,for his 50th birthday cruise! Would appreciate a quick answer as he's got me hanging waiting to book it!
-
Look at my clock,,I'll be blowed if I can fix it:o
-
I would love it if you gentlemen and your lady wives would have a birthday drink with me sometime on this cruise,,I'm fairly normal ;)

Is it by any chance the 3 nighter on 4th April? I'm looking at that one, I love Azura, beautiful ship :) I still can't work out what the day at sea is all about though! Does anybody know for sure what time we would arrive in Bruges?
