  1. Oops I was trying to say a shower line over the tub.
  2. Yes there are shower lines.
  3. Thank you for the information.
  4. We will be on a sea day just after leaving Singapore. Wonder if they will have it on the Explorer Monday morning around 7 am. ??
  5. I always take a 3ft extension cord and never have had a problem.
  6. Our 1st cruise on the Explorer we did a G-2 cabin. Nothing wrong with it. Just a few SQ FT smaller than expected. Friends were in a F-2 cabin so we got to see it. Very impressed. Really like the bed looking at the Veranda. So since then on the newer ships we have booked F-2 cabins. Now on the Mariner or Voyager we always try to get a H cabin. Navigator G starboard side.
  7. No you do not have to accept them, But you may be told you have to pay extra. Here is what I always do. I do my homework and try and find at least 4 flights I would like to request in order of preference, both going and returning. Then I send it to my TA who works with Regent Air. I almost always get my 1st or 2nd choice. Or sometimes I have received a better schedule because I am not aware of a particular airline they may use that I don't know about or look at. Yes you can use Regent Air and fly in early or fly our later. BUT there are deviation fees you will have to pay, as well as you are on your own at the airports. They will not have someone there to pick you up or take you to the airport.
  8. Sweet Sugar NL Are you talking about the 11/13/2023 Splendor cruise Barcelona to Miami? Also have you looked at the Regent "roll call" here on Cruise Critic?
  9. Years ago on the Mariner Chef Tobias took us on a galley tour that ended up extended and we got to go below where the large coolers, freezers, and storage areas were. Deck 2 & 3. Now that was really really neat. Course they don't do that anymore. I believe you need to go to Destination service and ask about galley tours. They might allow bridge tours while we are on our seas days. Guess you can ask and find out.
  10. Wanted to point out one thing. Coarse your corporate cruise may be set up differently, but normally Regent has a list of excursions you can pick from at each port that are included. Not always but in some ports they also have excursions you can may extra for. The price on those are normally for up to 5 people going on the excursion. And yes you can use your own board credit to pay for those. Regent does not require you to tip on board. But it is up to you to tip your off ship tour guides as they are not employees of Regent.
  11. Very difficult to compare Regent with anyone other than Silver Seas, and Seabourn, and that is also tough to do. Every other cruise line operate differently. Regent is all inclusive. The price shows all inclusive, but does allow you to either not use the Regent air and get a price reduction for that. On international flights it shows business class, but a new twist allows you to pick premium economy and price reduction if you wish. Oceania's 3 newer ships are close to Regent ships size, other than Navigator. they offer economy air, but you have to pay extra for excursions, premium booze packages, tips. Booking a Regent cruise shortly after it shows up is really important to do right away. It is different on Regent. The lower tier cabins are basically the same, They just cost more the higher deck you are on. This is why they sell out so fast if you would like to save a little on the cabin price.
  12. Thank you everyone. Done all the forms, and filled out all the paperwork. Just waiting to head to Memphis September 12th! 7 of us going.
  13. Interesting. We had to get a $150.00 visa 01/09/2007 when we cruised on the Mariner. Did say it was good for 10 years at that time.
