Wow ... only 2 months to go. Already gathering a few of our last "essentials" before this adventure begins. Looks like most people have already booked up their shore excursions. We are a bit late getting started with our shore excursions and decided that since many are already filled up or filling fast, we would fill some of the spots with our own excursions. Seems like a few are doing the same :). We have hired a car and driver in Auckland for 6-8 hours that will take us wherever we want to go for the day. We are thinking of going to some sites around the city and then out to the West Coast waterfalls and beaches. We are thinking KIteKite Waterfalls and Piha Beach with a stop at a winery along the way for lunch but are open to any other great suggestion. We have room for another 2 or 3 people where the cost will be around $US125 - 150 / person. If you are interested in joining us, you can contact us rsmagix@gmail.com.
