No clue. But that is why the lady told me. I was concerned I was placing fictitious bids on a suite that was sold out. This is what she told me. I can only go with what I was told. I don’t work there. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I spoke with NCL. They pull the cabins out of inventory that are up for bid. So sold out means nothing. I am impatiently waiting to hear about our upgrade. 5 more days to go...,. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I talked to NCL yesterday. They pull out of inventory of all the cabins up for bidding. If we get our bid of the Havens deluxe owners suite.....our 2bd haven family suite will be up for grabs. Good luck to you..... Sent from my iPhone using Forums

I spoke with NCL yesterday. I guess they pull the cabins they have up for bids out of the their inventory. So there is still hope. It is the escape. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

We are in the Haven 2 bedroom family suite and I am waiting on a bid for the Haven deluxe owners suite. Sailing is 3/24. When do they start accepting bids? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Escape upgrade

We are currently booked in the haven 2bdr family suite. We r bidding on the deluxe owners suite for the March 24 sailing. The haven is definitely with it. You have your own lounge and restaurant. It also has a separate pool and hot tub area that only haven guests can use. Room service is 24 hours vs a cut off time for the rest of the ship. There is butler service and priority boarding. It just is icing on the cake. Well worth the extras in my mind. You can go to Norwegian escape ice portal and view all the rooms in 360 degree. It’s really neat. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
10. I just wanted to let anyone traveling with their "elves" during their Holiday cruise....know that I found an Etsy shop that makes a Mickey and Minnie outfit. She is also making me a Pirate outfit for my boy and girl elf for "Pirate" night on the cruise. Our cruise is just getting more and more special with the addition of our elves playing a part in the family vacation! So if you are brining them and are trying to figure out what to do with them on the cruise....just dress them up. I can't wait for my kids to see them on the ship and in themed costumes too. It is going to be great!
11.
Oh my gosh, what a compliment! Thank you so much! You made my day :) I sorry to hear about your mother’s stroke. Hope all is well. Yes, we both grew up in Hawaii and are completely home sick! You forget how amazing it is when you’re there all the time but now that we’re gone, all we want to do is go home! Boots and Kimos is amazing. Wailana Café is a staple in our family and Kenekes in Waimanalo is the ONLY place to go after the beach! Yum! I could go on and on and on! Oh, how I miss it! I’ve actually never been to any of the other islands except for the Big Island every year but my parents love Kauai! We used to do the Volcano run every summer on the Big Island and we would run through places that are now covered in lava. We didn’t get to actually tour and visit St. John (or St. Thomas really) but when we stepped of the ship, we knew we would fall in love with it. We would move there in a heartbeat and feel right at home. I would love to spend a week on either island so I could do the day sail again and then walk around and tour the islands. I’ve started a little list of things I either missed or things that don’t really fit into my review but are worth mentioning. I’ll post that after my disembarkation post.
I will have to remember those places to eat at. We try to go there every other year…. We may be going back either late this year or early next. I love it there:) Our next plan is to do the inter island flights. We were there when they were talking about doing the ferry. But, as you know that idea was scrapped. It would have been nice to have a ferry run between islands. You are very lucky to have grown up in paradise. Can't wait to read the rest of our review….
12. Great review…. We were booked on the Allure for this March but had to cancel due to my mother having a massive stroke. We are rebooked for 2014. I noted you were raised in Hawaii. We did cruise in Hawaii back in 2007. While the NCL ship was nothing to write home about….the islands were breathtaking. We were hooked the minute we stepped out of the cab in Waikiki. The rest of the islands were the icing on the cake for us. Kauai was one of our favorites. We are also hooked on Boots and Kimos in Kailua. Waiting for a table is so worth it there:) I have read that St.John was similar to Hawaii. Is that true? Do you have any other tips you can think of that wasn't in the review? Thank you for taking the time to write such a detailed review. It is one of the best I have read on CC:)

WOW Sale on Royal Caribbean

That's a shame….because the personal travel agent has the liberty to do it. It is something that RCI allows them to do once per year. I wish it would have worked for you…. By my research RCI should be having their official WOW sale in the Spring. My agent offered it to us now because we needed to book re book right away. Keep your eyes peeled for the official sale. The last one was the beginning of October.

WOW Sale on Royal Caribbean

Just so there is no misunderstanding because of CC rules…. I'm not lobbying for my travel agent. Just sending you back to yours with the hopes you can get the same deal I received:)
15. Hi Everyone, I just wanted to let you in on a travel agent secret. RCI offers travel agents the ability to offer their own WOW Sale outside of the official one RCI offers. They can offer this once a year. We just had to cancel our cruise for March 2013 because my mother had a massive stroke. We decided to transfer our deposit over to next year. We had booked for 4. But, we needed to book the new reservation for the Royal Family Suite for 8. As you know this requires a per person deposit of $500 each because it's a suite. Now we are booking at a rate of $250 a person:) Regular cabin deposits are $250…now it's $125. She must have taken pity on me because of what happened. She decided to offer me her WOW sale. The best part….now this opened up the sale to ANYONE wanting to book a RCI cruise at the reduced deposit:) So anyone that books this week gets the WOW sale. If your looking at booking your future cruise ask your travel agent if they can offer you the WOW sale. It may not be a sale they like to give away very easy but it doesn't hurt to ask. My travel agent is a gem….
