  1. After receiving the email from Azamara re-this offer, I asked my agent to contact them and she duly did. Their response was that I didn’t qualify for the offer and they were aware that the computer contacts all guests regardless of whether they are eligible. Silly old computer, is this AI, I hear you ask, obviously no human had any part in it. It’s also strange that others on my cruise”qualify” for the offer. Just another reason for me to lose patience with them.
  2. That is terrible, I’m so sorry for staff & passengers alike, it’s inconceivable that you are in that position.

  5. It was not my intention to “surround you with controversy “. It was just a difference of opinion, surely that is allowed?? Enjoy the rest of your cruise, it sounds fabulous 👍🏻
  6. Then maybe a short paragraph saying we will try to accommodate alternative dishes if given 24 hour notice? As someone stated previously, not all passengers are aware that alternate dishes are available.
  7. I can understand whilst they might charge extra for a special order in MDR, I have a problem with paying extra in Specialty as I've already paid extra to dine there. I agree that there should be clarity on what items are available to order in advance, I have never taken advantage of this as I am happy with the available choices. I was surprised to see the additional cost for the fruit de mer platter in Aqualina, coupled with price increases to drinks upgrade and dining packages. Unfortunately Azamara is becoming less of an option for me with the extra's and price increases.
  8. As I previously stated, the 2 cruises I checked out were not 100% fare, they were approximately 125% & that was before taxes etc were added. It matters not, I didn’t continue either booking.
  9. That's really strange, I checked 2, one being the repositioning cruise in March and it was definitely more than 1 fare and I checked inside, out and veranda.
  10. I totally agree. I checked out a solo fare and it worked out around 125%. I don’t understand whether solos pay 100% more ie 2 fares or one fare. I can’t be bothered to ask my agent to check it out. 🤦‍♀️

  12. Hi David, I didn’t book direct, but I received a letter in my stateroom giving me the option of FCC & I heard someone requesting a voucher for it when I was at the front desk. I chose the 2 day refund as I doubt I will sail with them again. I hope you & Sandra are well. Gill
