We just received the below notification for our April of 2025 voyage on the 32-day, Sapphire South Pacific cruise. Please be advised that due to operational considerations, Sapphire Princess will no longer call to Lahaina, Hawaii on Monday, April 14, 2025 and will instead call to Kona, Hawaii from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on this day.

I just did a cruise search, all 4 options are still there? Maybe try a different search engine? 🤷‍♂️

Today, we originally planned to take the HoHo bus around town. But we started walking, and kept walking, and walking, and walking!!! All said and done, we racked up 8.2 miles! And, that included a whole bunch of hills! Our feet are a bit tired! We stopped for a bit of shopping and lunch. We were lucky, no rain! As we were headed back to the ship the clouds were getting darker and you could smell the rain in the air. Random photos from around town.

The two bands have been really good, lots of folks dancing in the Piazza. The Prestige Quartet (from Chile) and Dynamix (boarded in Picton) are the bands.

Tonight's extra dish in the Reserve Dining Room was Lobster Rissoto. They prepared grilled vegetables for our starter. We had the coconut shrimp as a second course. We had the Lobster Rissoto for our main and they put a few coconut shrimp on top.

Today we spent a very relaxing time walking around the village of Paihia, Bay of Islands. Thank you @Yehootu for taking our photo! The main street in town.

@Mike A I do not have the exact dates. Sounds like it will probably be before your cruise??? If I find out the exact dates I'll let you know.

We are currently on the Majestic and I met with the Future Cruise Dept a few days ago. No deals! They commented that cruises are sailing at capacity again and we will see few discounted fares.

Good morning Bay of Islands!

Last night we dined at The Catch with two senior staff officers. It was FANTASTIC!!! Sorry, no photos. We were up late, past midnight, and are having a late and slow start to the day. 🤪 Btw, the Majestic will have a two week dry dock in April of 2025 in Palermo, Italy. The Harmony Restaurant "might" be going away??? If it does, The Catch will replace it and Sabatini's would go into The Catch's current location on deck 7.

Another "new" wine available in Vines, $18 a glass. They are finally unloading wines that were brought on in Sydney.

Last night, I forgot to mention that the below wine "flew" into Vines and is now well stocked. $18 per glass.

We had a super day today with our dear friend Ivica, Manager of the Allegro Dining Room. Debbie had time for some shopping and we made it back to the ship to watch the 2nd half of the Lakers vs Pelicans game. We are BIG Lakers fans! Close game at the end and we won!

Coming into port. Should be a really nice day!
