  1. We have not seen any restrictions bringing food or alcohol back to the ship.
  2. It started off a little cool this morning in Genoa, but it developed into another beautiful, sunny day. It reached into the high 60's. We spent the day walking and shopping in the old city center. We walked from and back to the ship. We ended up walking 10 miles today.
  3. We received the letter. We have experienced this on several other cruises. We have never had an issue with the passports being returned.
  4. The current manager in Sabatini's is Aryna. She is a very personable and sweet lady.
  5. This afternoon we attended the MTG luncheon. We had our photo taken with the Captain. This was the first MTG luncheon on the Regal, since the start-up, that officers sat with the guests. Mima, the Guest Services Director, sat at our table. She advised that the next voyage will have 300+ more passengers than the current voyage. That will put the passenger count in the 2,700 range. For the TA voyage, the passenger count is currently at 2,500+/-. The cut-off for the luncheon was 429 sea days. The food and service was outstanding. We had the Citrus Gravlax Tartar and Pan-Seared Panko Coated Barramundi. Tina and Ken it was nice meeting you! As well as @chrysalis, who we met on the elevator on our way out.
  6. Our first Med cruise was on the old Royal. It was a beautiful ship!
  7. Sorry, we have not been to Sabatini's yet. We are attending the MTG luncheon tomorrow in Sabatini's, I'll see if I can find out. Below is tomorrows patter, both sides.
  8. I was mistaken on our next Corsica date, it is Nov 20th. Sorry...
  9. The Captain advised us tonight that our port of Corsica on Saturday (Nov 5th) is being canceled due to bad weather. We will instead be in Genoa as the replacement port. Personally, we prefer Genoa. I don't know how or if this will affect our scheduled stop in Corsica on Nov 7th???
  10. Here is today's patter. The two bands onboard are very good, Project 5 and the Sunset Quartet. They have been alternating between the Piazza and the Vista Lounge. We have had two dinners in the Crown Grill so far. The food and service have been outstanding! We have a Sabatini's reservation for Nov 9th.
  11. Another warm and sunny day today in Katakolon. It had to be close to 80 degrees. We shared the port today with the Island Princess. In the photo you can see the butcher job they did to the rear of the ship when they added the extra cabins. The highlight of our day was the liter of local rose and the fish platter that we shared. I think we will eat and drink our way to Ft Lauderdale! 😄
  12. No problem using your own products, we always bring our own. We can't speak to the salon question?
  13. A couple more from today in Mykonos. The windmills and "Little Venice."
  14. It turned out to be a very nice day in Mykonos today, albeit a bit windy. We walked into town (about 20 mins), but took the 2 euro water bus back to the ship. We enjoyed a local beer and red wine with our huge falafel burgers.
  15. I forgot to mention that the VPN on my tablet is off. Streaming does not work well when VPN is on.
  16. I am not using a stick. I am using a HDMI/USB-C adapter cord from my tablet to the back of the TV.
  17. Ocean Terrace has been very quiet on sea days. I do not think you need reservations or even if they take any? As to the white/gold party, we have not heard any mention of it. Overall, I think folks have been dressing fairly casual on this segment. As far as the internet, we have only had issues with streaming in the late afternoon. I'm sure this has been due to the high amount of passengers using the internet at that time. Btw, our laundry has been coming back in 48 hrs. We are in Mykonos this morning and it is very windy! I will try posting some photos later.
  18. You should see my DW's closet at home. She could open a clothing boutique! And don't even get me started about her bags and shoes!
  19. The view of Kusadasi from our starboard balcony. On the port side of the ship there was a Norwegian and Viking ship.
  20. In the mid 90's we spent a month in Egypt, which included a 7 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan. That trip was one of our bucket list trips and still one of the best we have ever done.
  21. Beautiful sunny day in Kusadasi today. The DW was in heaven as she was able to do what she loves to do, SHOP!
