Princess Traditional Dining seatings/availability
LACruiser88 replied to luvdaislands's topic in Princess Cruises
Yes, Traditional Dining has gone away. However, you can usually request the same table, at the same time, once you are onboard. -
Same here. I switched browser from Chrome to Internet Explorer and was able to log in.

Disagree strongly, we break even with 2 glasses of wine. 🍷🍷 -
The free laundry perk has really come in handy when you are on the ship f0r 30+ days at a time.

After having some damaged items we only send out anything that can withstand hot wash and hot dry. For the laundry room, we now bring the below washer sheets. They work great. From Amazon... Semi-live Regal Mediterranean cruise & precruise

We will be following along, we board on Oct 26th for 37 days. -
Even though we purchase the Princess Plus package, we have been bringing our own wine onboard to drink at dinner. The MDR wine selection by the glass is horrible and the poor Junior Waiters spend all their time fetching drink orders. This causes our glass of wine to show up mid-dinner. I happily pay for the corkage and we are able to drink much better wines (usually from our own cellar) as soon as we are seated for dinner. We have found "by the glass" wines in Vines to be totally acceptable on our 6 recent cruises (Majestic and Emerald).

She should try to change the title. "Sapphire, Oct 4th sailing"

The body wash is stand alone. The shampoo/conditioner are one. We do not like their products. We always bring our own.

I believe the Diamond does not start cruising until the end of next month. But, based on Club Class dining on the other ships, it will probably be in the Pacific Moon dining room. On Deck 6, on the Port side.

The selection varies ship to ship.

How is the bidding system doing? Any comments?

Just received the below offer for our Dec 28th New Year's cruise on the Discovery. We are currently in a Deck 10 mid-ship balcony. I think we will stay put, as we really like our current location and it is only a 10 day cruise. For cruises 15 days or longer, we prefer mini-suites. We cruised Antarctica in 2011 on the Star Princess. For those 4 days, the temperature never got above 32 degrees Fahrenheit. But, it was our most memorable cruise experience.
