Refreshment package cost if bought on board?

But what is the daily cost to buy it on the ship itself? -
Son is cruising the Brilliance of the Seas at the end of the month and he was thinking of buying the refreshment package on day 3 of his 8 day cruise. I noticed online it states it's 30% off if he buys it online. Is this correct so he wouldn't really be saving any money waiting to purchase it later in the cruise as he would be paying 30% more?

If you book with EZ Air don't they get you to the ships next stop if you happen to miss the boat? I booked with EZ Air for a quick little one hour flight morning of cruise from Edmonton to Vancouver. It's during the summer and there are a couple flights after ours that could still get us to the ship if there was a problem with ours. We always fly in a day early at least but since this is such a short trip I thought we would save on the hotel room and just fly in morning of using the EZ Air get you to the ship as our insurance. Is this correct?

Flyover and Aquarium before check in at Canada Place
mattR replied to mattR's topic in West Coast Departures
LOL Thanks for the additional info. Another great Canadian tv show that I watched all the time was of course "The Beachcombers" -
Why don't people recommend using the waterfront station on Howe St rather then Cordova St to catch the sky train to YVR?

Flyover and Aquarium before check in at Canada Place
mattR replied to mattR's topic in West Coast Departures
Great thanks for the info. One of my favorite tv shows growing up was Danger Bay so would like to see the aquarium. Is there something other the FlyOver that you would recommend in the area? -
We did this about 5 years ago I think we had to do it before the cruise was half over but can't remember for sure.

Gonig on the Royal Princess out of Vancouver on Jul 13th. Flight gets into YVR at 7:30am so thinking of catching breakfast at the airport then hop on the Sky Train drop off luggage around 9am then head out to do somethings around downtown Vancouver till 2pm (Three ship day so want to miss most of the chaos). Was thinking of going to the Aquarium and Stanley park and finish off with Flyover at Canada Place. How long does Flyover take? Any other recommendations of things to do in the downtown area? What is the earliest we can drop off bags?

What would the full experience include and do you buy separate tickets for each thing?

Would there be enough time to see Peral harbor if flying into Honolulu from Maui around 9am on embarkation day? If so what's the best way to do this? Cruising on the Brilliance of the Seas Apr 28th a Sunday.

The Brilliance and it's a 8 day cruise what would be the last day to purchase? Can you just buy it from a bar or do you have to go to guest services?
-
Can you buy the refreshment package a few days into the cruise, or do you have to buy it on day one? Do both people in the cabin have to buy it or can just one person buy it?

Is one of the three dining rooms on the Royal nicer than the others

Which one has reserve class? Is it better to avoid that one? -
That doesn't sound like a free cruise to me it sounds like a potential expensive cruise? If the slot machine pays out 95% then the cruise still costs $2700.

Car rental insurance abroad (for Canadians)
mattR replied to lots-of-km2's topic in Canadian Cruisers
Correct I bought the insurance through Expedia a third-party insurance they offered not directly with Enterprise. I received an insurance contract which if I had bothered reading did state that it did not cover loss of use. I have not had to make any other claims on a rental car but assume that it would cover loss of use and much less paperwork if you bought insurance directly from the rental agency. -
Car rental insurance abroad (for Canadians)
mattR replied to lots-of-km2's topic in Canadian Cruisers
We usually buy the insurance through the rental company as I think there is a bigger chance of getting in an accident when driving places, you are unfamiliar with. It makes driving much more relaxed as if the car gets damaged oh well the rental company will take care of it and it won't affect my personal insurance rates if I do damage the car. The last time my wife rented we booked through Expedia and they offered insurance for a pretty good price so we bought it. Unfortunately my wife hit a rock on the narrow roads in Wales and put a dent in the bumper. Enterprise took a 2000 pound deposit for the damage. We have got most of it back but the Expedia insurance didn't cover loss of use and Enterprise is trying to charge me for 16 days of loss use. I am still trying to get them to knock that down to a reasonable number of days. Very much wish we had gotten her the insurance directly through Enterprise would have made everything much simpler. I understand that for longer rentals it can really add up but for just a day or two I think it's so much more comforting to just get the rental car insurance from the agency.
