Looks like the one island course is closed. There appears to be three courses in playa del Carmen. Hard rock looks pretty close to where the ferry comes in. Anyone been to hard rock? Arranged the ferry independently? We would be a few couples and the men would golf and women would beach. Not sure if it’s better for us to all go over or just the golfers… if it’s worth it… I have all the questions 🙂 I’ve only been once and while I’m pretty good on boats I remember getting sick on that ferry. But I love arranging golf in new places for my husband! We are there in late December if that’s a factor. Please share golf, ferry, Hard Rock, and other experiences and opinions. thanks!

Advice please! Husband will golf and I will hang out at a beach. Open to day pass at resort or beach club. Attentive attendants, relatively quiet, and walkable or close from the golf course? thanks cruisers!

Going in December… docking in Falmouth. We want a driver for the day arranged in advance. Beach, food, maybe a viewing (no hiking or long drives 🙂 ) mark was my first choice based on my reading. He’s booked… other suggestions with your experience? Thanks?!

Nope. It’s a case of not wanting a red eye and to not spend time waiting around. The next option was a few hours later. If it was an hour later I would have done it. I think we can be fine and I will probably get up and scope it out on our embarkation day when previous cruisers are departing since we are staying at the Pan Pacific so I know exactly where to go, etc. But I figured I would check in here to see what others have done.

Hi cruisers! I appreciate your recent experiences as so many things are from the before times. Return to Vancouver port Saturday 7/30 on Konningsdam. 11:50 flight out of YVR. Too much luggage for walk off with bags or the train. help! cab? Uber? Limo service? Porter? Directions? I’ve seen the huge taxi lines online which is why I am hesitant to say just taking a cab is the best choice. We will try to be in the first groups off the ship but any other advice is very welcome. What an adventure it has been planning this Covid delayed cruise. Hope you’re all doing well with your plans and I promise to pay it back on my return! 😊
