Does anyone know the usual time of the earliest tender the second (day after the overnight) in Moorea? We are trying to book a private tour. Many thanks!

Hi Everyone,
Does anyone know where the "Natural Aquarium" is located on the island of Huahine? We are renting a car and am wondering if we could drive ourselves there?

Thank you Tahitianbigkahuna. Sandrine hooked me up with the right people at Avis. I really appreciate your help!

The Laundry package for a 7 day cruise is $129. It is very expensive to piece meal the laundry unless you don't have much to do. If you read Luckybeckys review on her trip, I think she took a picture of the prices (approx. $5-7 per item).

Thanks BlancaNoir. I have heard that bathing suits can be hard to dry... that's why we were considering a balcony, but in the end, we wanted to spend the difference in cost on shore excursions.

Thanks Tahitianbigkahuna. I will email her. I read the thread earlier that someone had a bad experience with Albert's rent-a-car in Moorea. Would you use Avis or Albert's in Moorea?

Thanks Tahitianbigkahuna. I will try those suggestions.

Thanks Tahitianbigkahuna. If we got off the ship right away and grabbed a taxi we might be able to catch the show at the IC PPT.

Hi Again. Does anyone have any contact information for Huahine rental cars (Europcar or Avis)? As well, it looks like both gas stations are closed on Sunday at Noon. Is it possible to rent a car and fill it with gas to return it on a Sunday?
Thanks!

Friends that are sailing with us ( b2b Jan.27/Feb.3rd) are keen on seeing a Polynesian Dance Show. We are in PPT on Saturday night and part of Friday night (off the ship), Bora Bora on Tuesday night, and Moorea on Thursday night. Both IC PPT and IC Moorea shows are not on those evenings, as well as the Tiki Village Show. The only shows that may be a possibility are IC Moana (Bora), Hilton Nui (Bora), and possibly the Four Seasons (Bora).
1) Does anyone know of any other shows that are worthwhile and on any of our nights?
2) Is it recommended to see shows off the ship or are the Gauguines' shows just as good if you can't get a Polynesian show with the fire dancers? Thanks!

Thank you Cruisedreamer1. I was hesitant about using the ship's laundry, but it would definitely be easier than hand washing/hanging my things or packing too many items. I will reconsider the laundry option.

Thank you for the quick response. I really appreciate it. I have read the laundry thread where people have said that their "line dry only" items came back fine, but when I phoned Paul Gauguin's customer service, they told me that the ship has no place in their laundry area to hang dry anything, so they put all the laundry in the dryers.

Hi Everyone! We are going to be in Cabin #440 and Cabin #436 in January/February on PG. Is there a shower rod or another clothes line to hang hand washables? Thanks!

We are getting in to Papeete too late to buy a SIM card for our Canadian cellphone. Does anyone know of any place to buy one on any of the other islands? We are going to Huahine, Taha'a, Bora Bora and Moorea. Thanks again!
