  1. Today, I tried to change my room from a balcony to a Neptune Suite. The call center did not know what a "neptune suite" was, finally provided her an available room indicated on HAL website (1 of 3 rooms). She provided a price of $1500pp OVER the price on the website (??). When informed of the price on the website, she indicated I would have to provide information on the lower price for HAL to honor. WHAT? Gave up may try back later.
  2. Plans are to embark in Honolulu to Singapore and disembarking in Florida.
  3. We are doing B2B and stopping for a day and getting off for an excursion, would the 30 days restriction still pertain, as well as over the counter medications? We would not be taking any medications off the ship.
  4. Has anyone hooked up a wireless headphones for the TV. I am able to do it at home, but am not sure if HAL has the same available hook up.
  5. This is all such great information. We will be in Singapore for 7-days in December. This helps plan our itinerary.
  6. Just like RD64, all this information surely does help. It gives us an idea of what to expect. Probably each ship handles the change a little differently. We do plan to go off the ship for the day, we adjust well to make thing as convenient as possible. It is usually a very crazy day for the crew.
  7. Thanks Nancy for the great info. We will actually be disembarking in Japan.
  8. We will be taking two B2B with rooms changes. Could someone please explain what is involved on disembarkation day. Do we put our luggage out the night before. Can we stay on board or do we have to get off and what about our room cards? Thank you.
  9. Thank you for the information, it is good to know you can stay pretty much anywhere to get a MRT, see sights or get their wonderful food. Also nice the lower prices hotels are decent, we would love the Marina Bay Sands but definitely out of our price range, a few days would have worked but our plans is for 7-8 days.
  10. We will be coming off a cruise and staying a few days in Singapore before heading home. We are looking for a hotel that is convenient to the trains, sites and food. Does anyone have suggestions?
  11. Can anyone provide wheelchair use on Celebrity. Are there any major obstacles particularly on excursions?
  12. It sounds like a wheelchair would not work and a walker might be iffy at times. For me long distance walking is an issue. We have never been on Windstar and was wondering if someone could give me an idea on excursions. Lots of walking on tours? Or can we go on our own with a wheelchair?
  13. I've had a great non-alcoholic(virgin) strawberry daiquiri. My husband had a non-alcoholic that had pressed oranges and limes, we can't remember the name, but it was on the menu.
  14. We were in a Veranda on the Westerdam in June, there are no outlets for a CPAP machine near the bed. You need at least a 10ft extension cord or more (tripping hazard). Best is to ask your room steward for the outlet and extension cord. On a past cruise, we had a steward tape down the cord, not that lucky on our June cruise.
  15. I purchased my Generali insurance thru the Trip Insurance Store, we have not made our final payment for the cruise, but we are upgrading cabins. I called Generali and they gave me a website to modify the insurance, which was not Generali. Has anyone had to modify and am I able to increase my coverage?
