I am assuming you are talking sbout your casino comped cruise..you have to call casino number to cancel and not the regular royal line. Called the casino twice yesterday with very little wait time.

If all you paid was taxes and fees you don't need to cancel under cruise with confidence as taxes and fees would be refunded regardless.

As far as the perks that is solely at the discretion of your travel agency. When they told you it is $300 to move into the group that is correct. Groups require a full cabin deposit which on a 7 day cruise is $500. They do not go by the reduced rate next cruise deposit. Yes if you are all in the group you can link your dining. That is the only way to get your dining linked. Your only other option is for everyone to choose MTD where linking does not matter.

Since you mentioned CK and boardwalk balcony that narrows it down to Oasis class. You will be able to get free beer and wine from 11 am in the suite lounge and mixed drinks during happy hour roughly 5 to 8:30. Your nephew will not be allowed to join you there. Only guests in the suite have access to CK. You may be allowed to have them join you once (as an exception) but that would be it. You cannot pay a cover charge. You may get away with sneaking them up to the sun deck. You will get free internet for each guest in the Owners suite. Your nephew will not be allowed to drink as it goes by port of sailing not by guests home countries age policies Gratuities are not included. $17.50 per person per day for suites and $14.50pppd for non suites

That's only on Oasis class that the SL is open starting at 11. Other ships is just happy hour. The issue is that there are 2 reservations but the guests are in one room as you can only put a max of 4 on a reservation. Its how the cruise planner is coded...by reservation or by room number. If its by reservation then only 4 have to buy the package, if its by room number then all guests would or at least the non drinkers would have to buy the refreshment package.

Many people have reported that if it was never activated at a machine then you can activate it on your next sailing and it will work at the machines

You should know that if you call several times you can get several different answers. I would definitely be calling back as the terms only specify Travel agent rates which as I mentioned are completely different than the TA Friends and family rate which anyone can be booked into. The TA rates are more like the interline rates which are deeply discounted

Travel agent rates are entirely different than the friends and family rates. Travel agent rates are not published and are a set cost per day based on cabin category and ship class. The friends and family rates posted above certainly do get the double points.

If you never activated it on your previous cruise you should be able to activate it on your next cruise.

Unfortunately it is by design. FCC's cannot cross currencies for bookings. The FCC's must be redeemed in the same currencies that they were issued. It is all part of how Royal has their internal business units set up. Each country or in some cases group of countries, is their own business unit and has their own sales targets to meet. I have been down this road several times in the past with FCC's that involved CDN and US $ bookings and the answer has always been the same even pushing it to higher levels.

I would check on that. Royal has changed the redeemed by dates for all FCC's. FCC's now have a redeem and sail by date of Dec 31, 2022 or later depending on when they were issued.

You need to wait for your room to appear on your booking or showing on your app not just by going by the bar code reader,. Then, if there is space available in the exact same category you can call and change to another stateroom.

Very easy. Drop the line from one balcony to below, have someone there to pick it up and walk it to the other side. Have the other balcony drop a line that you attach to the one you carried from the other side and raise and tighten the line. There are certainly enough of us on board to help. Would certainly make for a great late night photo shoot
