  1. Royal has been running mini 2 day sales that have included OBC, but they also raise the prices to compensate for that. At the end of the day prices, once they factor in the OBC form the mini 2 day sales are usually within $50 of what they were without. Don't feel like you are missing out, they just play games with the pricing
  2. I was on the inaugural and it definitely was not available. They said it would be yet we are still waiting
  3. I have a letter from the executive office explaining why. Has to do with cruise by cruise taxes that may be under or overpaid as a whole for the ship based on occupancy, tax rates in place at time of booking and changes which is why it is up to the on board revenue manager by ship.
  4. You have been lucky. As Biker mentioned it is entirely at the ships discretion and there have been numerous posts about nothing being refunded.
  5. As posted above. It is a pass through offer from Royal that is offered to select TA's for close in sailings. The offer varies by month and is usually for sailings departing within 6 months of booking on select itineraries for balconies and above. This month was Alaska and Europe, last month was Caribbean.
  6. Google the ship and sail date is your only option. Royal does not disclose that information.
  7. There was a post on one of my cruise groups from someone wanting to know how thry could request extra luggage tags as they only received one.
  8. Prepaid gratuities are only added to the reservation and not paid for until final. there is nothing to refund if you have only paid the $100 next cruise deposit
  9. yes I saw thst but that should should cover the missed port not yhe fact yhe cruise was shortened.
  10. Really surprised they are not offering a one day refund of the cruise fare fir the Aptil 12 sailing.
  11. None were posted here. Kind if surprised that they aren't. They usually are pretty good about offering the option to cancel when there are major changes.

  13. I would be very surprised if Royal did not offer guests the option to cancel for a full refund.
  14. They dont have enough ships. If they thought they could make more money there vs their current ports there would already be a ship there.
  15. The only thing known at this point basedbon several reports from passengers on board is that the current sailing will disembark passengers at Norfolk. No me tion has been made as to yhe next 2 sailings or those after drydock.
  16. Wait until Saturday and then change the app to that sailing. She starts and 8 day cruise so the app will be completely updated

  18. in addition to the above there is also a spot on the app that is available boarding day and possibly a few days prior where you can also make this request along with other stateroom requests.
  19. It will be refundable obc. If not spent it will be refunded to your credit card.
  20. That would happen whether or not they did anything. Pretty sure Royal doesn't feel the need to justify any price increases
  21. They won't be doing any major upgrades to Vision or Radiance class ships. mechanical as well as some cosmetic stuff to keep them presentable enough to sail for the next few years
  22. There is a very good possibility that in a few months, after her drydock moving her won't be required as the bridge should be cleared. It will be a long time before any construction of a new bridge impacts ant ships
