  1. @PandaBear62, Yes, your mini bar should be restocked for the second ‘segment’. Go to your cruise history and I am certain it will show you earning 2 cruise credits if you are booked in anything less than a full suite. I believe if you are thinking of cancelling Plus package, it is considered part of the cruise fare, so I think you might have to cancel and rebook under the current ‘standard’ fare? Please call your TA or Princess ASAP for assistance with this issue. It is easy to think it is just an add-on amenity, easily added and subtracted with no relation to your cruisefare, but pretty sure you are actually booking a particular bundle, that once purchased, you cannot just cancel the ‘Plus’ amenity. When is next fall? This coming fall of 2024 or 2025? Asking because if you are past final payment, you will be subject to cancellation fees. Yes, Elites receive 10% discount for shore excursions. If while booking the discount is not applied, you will receive as OBC on board.
  2. ?, unlimited alcohol? NO, The Plus and Premier packages allow for 15 alcohol drinks in a 24 hour period, 6am-6am, there is unlimited NON alcohol drinks(Specialty coffees, juices, soft drinks, teas, bottle water). You should be able to order an alcoholic drink as soon as you board in SEA. I believe if you were departing from Galveston, TX, law requires only liquor bought where the ship paid TX taxes can be sold and is NOT covered by your packages. Your package will be active once in international waters. Word is Princess will give $25 OBC to use to purchase drinks till in international waters. Selection is very limited.
  3. @YVRteacher, most Princess ships buffets have an Indian dishes section where many are vegetarian, another option to check out. The Islands buffet is up top and forward with great views. There is also a complimentary dry Sauna, a little hidden down a hallway with showers and locker area, ask if you cannot find by Spa.
  4. Yes, must have blanked out after reading OP has Plus. Thanks for the catch. @YVRteacher, Princess Casino operates differently than NCL, as a hint for using OBC.
  5. @YVRteacher, Princess has ‘separate’ vegetarian menus you will probably need to ask to see. You can mix and match from both regular and vegetarian menus. Unlike NCL, OBC CAN be used towards the daily gratuities, so no need to worry about spending elsewhere, unless you will still have more after gratuities are charged. They are posted daily to your folio.
  6. I think I remember reading on another thread regarding this issue, believe they will switch, but you do not receive any refund/compensation for selecting the lower price beverage package.
  7. There have been a ‘few’ instances where solo pricing may drop because the lifeboat section capacity has reached double occupancy limits, so even though a double occupancy cabin is available, they can only book singles.
  8. On Enchanted, the ‘special cakes’ are located at the Gelateria and there is a sign. My experience on Enchanted last month, they have pre sliced portions ready to go in a holding area below the display cases.
  9. @FamilyGuy1010, did you check the closet area for your jeans and 3 shirts as they would be usually returned on wire hangers. Many Stewards will hang these items in your closet. I had one Steward that would lay ALL of my returned laundry on the bed. Your Steward might have also forgotten to retrieve your Jeans and shirts. Check your folio and you should see a laundry charge that will usually be credited back that evening or next. If the charge appears to be more than just underwear and socks, then your jeans and shirts were ‘processed’ .
  10. CA instituted a law effective July 1 2024, requiring Companies to show ‘total’ cost, so the cruise companies decided to implement this across the board, instead of having pricing for CA residents and all others. Some cruise lines were already showing total cost upfront. There is a previous thread regarding this issue.
  11. I was on Eclipse last year and in the Men’s changing room for the Fitness center which is also used for Spa patrons, there is a complimentary sauna. Assume same is also offered in the Women’s? As Elite I got access to Persian Garden on a port day. Only you will know if the amenities in the Persian Garden will satisfy you, so take a tour first and then you can decide if buying a pass will be worth it.
  12. There are some ‘perks’ events that you will be able to have your classic member join, they will NOT be entitled to the daily Happy hour drinks since their cruise card will show Classic, nor get the 90 internet minutes.
  13. On the 6/22 sailing, one of the female cast dancers was injured so the shows had to be reblocked and substitutions implemented. Was informed current cast is scheduled for only 3 more weeks, so replacement dancer will not be joining and they will make do till new cast comes aboard. On our 6/15 sailing , guest Tenor had to leave for personal reasons, so for 6/22 sailing, Rock Opera was performed with one of the casts lead Male singer filling in for the guest Tenor songs. They did a decent job and unless you knew which songs were supposed to be performed by the guest Tenor, you probably did not know there was a change.
  14. I was on Enchanted 6/15-6/29. I had Premier Pkg. At the Gelateria, they offered I could have ‘any’ gelato in cup or cone . They also have the 3 different premium ‘cakes’, in addition to the giant Sundaes, so surprised this policy has possibly changed? Please ask if this is a new policy as I had no problem getting scoops of any Gelato. Yes, Rudi’s The Catch was moved to the former Sabatini’s location. I believe Princess also moved The Catch to the former Harmony location on the Majestic which was the same location as Sabatini’s on Enchanted before the swaps. I believe Gastropub was replaced by O’Malley’s on Discovery and they also moved Catch to Sabatini’s space on deck5 swapping spaces. Yes the open area where Sabatini’s is now is not very intimate and gets Piazza events noise. I understand on 5/18, the Enchanted now offers Late night Bites at O’Malley’s from 9-11pm. which is a limited menu of the regular menu AND is NOT covered if you have Plus OR Premier. I shared my displeasure with the Hotel GM and they said it was a pilot program. I do not think I saw any passengers partaking in the Late night bites, so will be interested if it survives.
  15. @BamaVol, I am pretty sure my number of passengers is very close to actual as I went to the Captains Circle party for the 6/15 and 6/22 sailings and the Future Cruise/Loyalty Ambassador gave the numbers for each tier. I believe the 6/15 sailing had 2675 brand new to Princess passengers which some call ‘Blue bees’, as previously they were issued ‘blue’ cruise cards. Now, they are issued ‘white’ medallions with a blue Seawitch. White medallions were previously issued for ‘inaugural’ year ship sailings, and the Seawitch matched your loyalty tier.
  16. I think you might be confusing the laundry bags with Royal Caribbean, as far as I remember, the only change for Princess in non suite cabins for laundry bags is the color previously was ‘white’ and the current ones are ‘brown/tan’ and seem slightly thinner. I know you have garbage bag to use now, but I have found ‘doubling up’ helps if you feel the one bag is too flimsy.
  17. @FamilyGuy1010, just off Enchanted for 14 days. Received the note saying Elite laundry can take 72 hours. I left my ‘bag’ when I left cabin in the morning for breakfast. I saw my ‘bag’ by the Stewards cart which I assumed he takes to the laundry when he finishes all the cabins in the morning which I know can last till early afternoon. My laundry was returned the following evening every time. YMMV. Our sailings were over 100% double occupancy at about 4100 passengers each sailing. I believe 3660 is 100% at double occupancy. I believe we had less than 300 elites each sailing. Let us know you experience.
  18. @Norwayladyis currently doing a live and posted the Future cruise deposit form. It specifies 6 month window to book to get bonus OBC and if not used in 12 months, you lose it. So for those who want to see the current form, check out this thread.
  19. I assume you meant you purchased in December 2023, if so, then the deposits should still be refundable under the previous rules of getting the bonus OBC if booked within 6 months and refunded if not used in 12 months. Also assume you booked your March/April with refundable deposit fare? Celebrity offers 2 pricing structures, so you could have your your ‘refundable future deposit’ on a non refundable deposit FARE?
  20. I believe earlier threads regarding this subject have said with deposits purchased in 2024, they are now non refundable and can only be used on non refundable deposit bookings and you will lose entire deposit if not used. These restrictions will not work for me, so I do not anticipate buying any unless there is a cruise I know I want to book while on board. So you will not be able to use on a refundable deposit booking. I think it is unfortunate if you were not informed of the NEW policy or the future cruise department gave you misinformation.
  21. Currently on Enchanted, I asked the HGM about Beekman products and his answer was IT IS planned to go fleetwide, but not until current supplies of existing inventory is depleted, so it will not be immediate.
  22. @Staying Focused, sounds like you booked a ‘guarantee’ , which can be assigned at any time up till sailing, you MAY get an assignment well before checking in at the pier/port. The longest I have had to wait was 3 days before sailing before I found out my cabin assignment. Keep an eye on fares as you should be able to take advantage of fare drops for an assigned cabin before final payment.
  23. Please clarify, my understanding was if you did not book your ‘suite‘ before December 1, 2023, then 360 is NOT complimentary. So your email invite was just asking you to consider booking 360 or did it also say it was being offered ‘complimentary’?
  24. A TA is able to use the online payment portal available to them and input the cards without needing to contact Princess. Celebrity requires your TA to submit the card images and numbers directly to them to process and can take up to 10 business days to complete this process.
  25. I did not ask the travel agent when the restrictions were lifted. I recently asked him because my cousin is taking friends who are Thai citizens to Alaska. I asked if he would be able to book them in their own cabin and he say yes as the restriction was lifted at least a few years ago. Please enquire with your TA as my sister said she asked another agency and was advised each Thai passenger would need to be booked with a U.S. citizen in each cabin for them to be able to do the booking.
