Good evening, I just wanted to give an update on the fire I mentioned earlier today. Unfortunately, the building was totally destroyed. The damage is in the millions and is still burning, they believe it will burn for 12-16 hours as it is still too dangerous to enter it. Thre is also a furniture store on the property that has extensive damage from smoke and water. The good news is that there was only1 minor injury. The owner has vowed to rebuild.

Good cold and cloudy morning. More snow is expected tomorrow night, 1-3 inches. Die to the snow covered ground, I will not be able to go to the gravesite service, walking is too difficult for me, there will be a celebration of life at a later date. Prayers are needed for firefighters battling a 4 alarm blaze at Martin’s supermarket in Ephrata this morning. This is a huge market and was just recently remodeled. I just heard on the news about the shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs parade. 1 confirmed dead and 9 injured. 2 shooters apprehended. Another senseless incident. Good snowy morning. The storm has ended and we did get several inches. I did have Fastnachts for breakfast.For many years, my church made them, it started out as a youth group project and eventually became a group project for close to 40 years. We went around the clock the weekend before and it was a good time while it lasted. They were made from scratch and were delicious. Stay safe out there.

Good evening We only waited in line about 20 minutes at Witmer. The good news is that they posted on FB at 3:00 they ere sold out. They served 2900 meals The fire company is all volunteer as are all the other companies in the area and they all support each other . Have a good night.

Good evening. An update on the situation in Philadelphia from Wednesday. On a happy note, both police officers are now released from the hospital and are recovering at home. The sad news is that the 6 missing family members remains have all been recovered.

I’m sad to say I have had more bad news today. My dear friend Lynda whose husband Bill passed 3 days before Christmas, has joined him in heaven. She passed this afternoon, after her cancer returned with a vengeance. 💔🙏

Good sunny morning. It’s supposed to be a nice day and warmer tomorrow and Saturday. No further updates on this situation in Philadelphia. They expect to start searching the property today as it was not safe yesterday. Still saying 6 unaccounted for. Blessings and prayers to all on our lists.

Prayers are desperately needed for a situation taking place outside Philadelphia late this afternoon. A person called 911 with a report of an 11 year old child being shot . Upon arrival, the individual opened fire on 2 police officers and then proceeded to set the house ablaze. At this point, the 2 officers are hospitalized in stable condition and it is not clear if any child was injured or if it was a ruse. According to the latest news report, 6 people are unaccounted for and the house was destroyed.💔🙏

Good sunny afternoon. I have been to St Thomas many times since 1978z I hope to see it again someday. Today is a sad memory day, 4 years ago I lost a special friend Mabel. She was like a second mother to me and a cruising companion. I’m grateful she didn’t have to deal with the Covid situation that would not have allowed me to say goodbye. @grapau27, I just received an alert on BBC news that Hid Majesty King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer. 🙏 for his recovery.

@Denise T, Not sure where you need to look for ranges in your area but I just wanted to let you know that Martin’s Appliance on 422 east in Exeter ( aside of Exeter family restaurant) shows ranges in stock. We purchased a refrigerator from them several years ago and had great service. Good luck.
