  1. Its pretty simple for me overall, I don't do deserts, never found them any good on Celebrity anyways. I do not use elevator at all so always doing the stairs. Its staying away from all the extra breads and fruity drinks overall. The buffet is easiest as you can just walk around and see all the veggies, I loaded up many days with the steamed Cauliflower and Broccoli that was available.
  2. I would go based on the itineary overall. Service is great on both ships. Silhouette is S class so similar to Equinox more so as it has be Revolutionized. Blu/Lumanie is better in the Silhouette but nothing wrong with the Infinity either. The infinity is M class and just older, still in great shape not as many Speciality Restaurants, and the Persian Gardens are much nicer on the Silhouette. Tho I would not turn down either ship if the itinerary was what I wanted. The Retreat sun deck on Silhouette is nicer but usually those Greece/Turkey cruises are very port intensive so how much time are you planning to stay onboard with the great places/ports to see things. Overall the Silhouette is the better ship, not by much, and would base the decision on the ports overall.
  3. Looking forward to this cruise also, First TA and just plan on relaxing and enjoying the ship. Have 10 days in Italy planned afterward disembarking.
  4. I think once I saw a 15% but that was long time ago and was for like 3 days only. 10% is what it is, easiest is just book it and if a better price comes along cxl and rebook, done that many times on different things with celebrity. Excursions, drink upgrades etc. The refund if OBC is usually instantaneous, and cc was always within 2-3 business days.
  5. Changes about as fast as Murano and or any the specialty menus change, very very rarely. The food is good but the only one I will ever do again is the Veuve Cliquot dinner, but they have phased that out mostly when I questioned the Cellar Master on my past November cruise.
  6. Ill try to get pictures of the menu uploaded. Seems they change pricing on the whim overall and do not have a concrete plan on it.
  7. Ill just save where the info is on Celebrity site so in case I don't have issues, I would guess the person in the fitness class might not be aware of the 12+ day cruise info, would just escalate it to the spa director. Celebrity does not do many over 12 day + cruises anymore so would make sense that staff is not fully aware of the extras.
  8. Still shows for my sailing next week at 17 I guess Ill find out Monday, on Silhouette for the TransAtlantic next week.
  9. The easiest thing is to go to the different bars and just ask the bartenders as they will help you. Guess what don't like it get something else, the joys of the drink package. Hopefully you're on a ship with World Class Bar as that is where I find my favorites personall love the Double Piquant and Banana Republic, all the drinks are very good. Plus they will make different things for you at times besides the 10 drinks on the menu. Many will say the different Martinis at the Martini Bar, personally I like the Cucumber Martini as I prefer things more "earthy" not super sweet as many of them are there. I have always had fun and getting the bartenders to make me something different not on menus, don't remember but it is always great to ask them.
  10. Thats good to know, I have the 6 for the TA which should be all I need. Wont be on Celebrity for at least a few years after this cruise as have other lines and travels booked out thru 2026 at this point and Im guessing thru 2027 as we plan on doing Antartica in Jan/Feb 2027 on Scenic or Seaborn.

  12. Some people will say yes and some will say no. Food is way too subjective. I enjoy both equally.
  13. Not sure what it was but cheapest I ever saw it was maybe 8% off at times. It would easily add over 200 with the wine pairings
  14. That's what I kind of thought, thanks for the info....do you have a link to the web page been looking for it for the past week, my search skills are weak as usual.
  15. I searched, not very well I know but I have not been in AQ for a while, before covid, and I know it says free classes, does anyone know how many that entails. I think it's 3 pp in the room or is it 6. I am on the 13 day TA on Silhouette coming up and will be using them to make time flow by and relax.
  16. But it seems some here must want to sit on the main page and get headaches from watching it.
  17. Never noticed the main page as I am on it for if anything 2 secs. either going to my account for future cruises or just doing some research on cruises I was thinking of. I stopped and looked this time but its a waste of time to be on the main page as there is nothing there and wont make that mistake again, Click find a cruise or scroll down where the info I need is or just go to my account.
  18. The two times I was there it was the perfect day to rent a cabana on board. Never got off,
  19. Discounts offered can not be combined with discounts shown in Cruise Planner, its off the full price and usually can get better discounts with the pre cruise pricing. Upgrade to premium drink package is not free, its 10% off the upgrade price, again you can usually get better with the pre cruise pricing, the 10% is off full premium upgrade price. I think Celebrity has been tinkering around with the Captains Club discounts being available on purchases, was there like a week ago showing but now not showing. It is best to call captains club to make sure it gets applied.
  20. I have had it open 80 ish days out and then others open 60 days or so out. No rhyme of reason.
  21. They get added as Celebrity renews or sets contracts with the different vendors who provide them, usually about 10 or so months out I have noticed when a full suite of choices are available. Best to just randomly check the cruise planner for them.
  22. To funny, comparing red lobster as the real thing, a very very cheap version of the real thing. Would never go there, I go to maine coast multiple times a year, 2 hr drive, thats the real thing red lobster not so much
  23. In general if you do not have the premium drink package its worth getting and sharing, if you have the premium drink package you can just order each martini and have a full one, and if dont like it just get another one and turn the one you didnt drink back in
  24. So if an asteroid hits and causes widespread destruction on the earth Im not covered....not fair.
