  1. Two thoughts - either no one knows, or I should have titled this post: "HORRIBLE AND CONFUSING experience with NCL website - will NEVER use again" Maybe that would have gotten some attention... 🙂
  2. I am finally platinum and I am finally planning to relax a little on our first port day and get a massage and spa treatment! I wasn't aware that you can prebook and prepay through the app/website, but I found a service and time that I like. However, what I can't tell is if the price reflects the 25% discount that platinum and above receive in the spa while the ship is in port. Does anyone have experience with this? Am I better off just waiting and booking first thing upon boarding? TIA!
  3. I'm so sad to hear this - I'm booked on this in April and was really looking forward to it. I'll look to see what's available, but maybe I'll try it out and see if I have a similar experience or not.
  4. Almost identitical to a post I just made in the Tortola forum. I went to St. Thomas last year and took a catamaran out into the bays and did some snorkeling (not the best I've done, but it was a nice boat ride). I'm back again this year on a cruise with NO sea days. I am debating what I want to do while in St Thomas that I can do mid-morning and won't take up my whole day so I can enjoy the quiet ship since my other days are filled with ports I've never been to before. Are there any town areas that are easily accessible and aren't just tourist traps? What would you recommend for 2 or 3 hours in the morning? Is it worth leaving the ship to explore?
  5. I went to Tortola last year and snorkeled into and explored Virgin Gorda. I'm back again this year on a cruise with NO sea days. 6. Now that we're well into their run, does anyone have the dailies for the 7-day cruise on the Viva out of San Juan?
  7. Is the 66 better, in your opinion, than the other prosecco they offer?
  8. OK, not to revive an old topic...but I'm reviving an old topic. I saw from a recent review of the Viva that an extra dry prosecco was listed under the premium plus package by the glass - it's NCL's own '66 brand. Has anyone tried it? What other brand would you compare it to?
  9. Well, there ya go! I'll come back and re-ask after Dec 15th 🙂
  10. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the Viva has begun its Southern Caribbean run out of San Juan. Does anyone have copies of the dailies for that itinerary? TIA!
  11. I have only ever sailed on cruises that departed between 3-4pm and know that they begin boarding at around 11:30am. Does anyone know what time check-in and boarding usually begin for an 8:30pm departure? I'm leaving out of San Juan, PR on the Viva, and I know she hasn't made that run before, but I'm interested to know others' experiences on other ships with similar times. TIA!
  12. Thanks for the insight! I just came to look for a similar question. I am new to Platinum, and I just checked the Latitude Rewards page and it now only says "Dinner for two with bottle of wine" and "Dinner for two" under the Platinum perks. Does anyone know which restaurants that can be redeemed with on the Prima? Is it now available to redeem at all venues? I know it used to be Cagney's/Le Bistro and Moderno/LaCucina.
  13. I don't have recent menus, but in my experience, the beauty of the Vibe is that they will make you what you want with what they have on hand. The best bartenders tend to be assigned to the Vibe and they like to experiment and have fun with the drinks they make. I know that some have shared on here that certain liquors are out of stock, but sometimes that's an excuse to try new things! One of my favorite non-menu drinks in the Vibe is a blended mojito...not too sweet and totally refreshing in the hot sun!
  14. This excites me SO much, and now I'm triple glad that I have the Viva booked for April 2024!!!
  15. Good to hear that! When I was on the Bliss this summer, I waited almost 30 minutes in the MDR and A-List bar for Veuve because they had to go to other venues to get a glass of it! *smh*
